I'd like to chime in on this and confirm that there should be a published list of fixes and "improvements" for an admin to look through. While a bit silly, a good example is the patch notes to online games. They're a simple list of bug fixes and changes that simply gives users an idea of what to look out for. They're…

Wow. I must say that that's got to be the worst thing possible. I'd rather they just remove the email button and force you to print to pdf and then manually email it. You can cause some serious damage by accidentally emailing information like this off to customers. I've seen it happen and am sure I'll see it again now.

It'd be best to script this. You might also use a mass update or a workflow but it'd get a bit messy. I'd suggest that you update the values on the customer via import, and then run a script on the Sales order that increments the number when the order is approved. Simple and effective if you don't cancel/delete too many…

The best way to handle this is to use a custom record form only and have the online user fill that in with the appropriate information. Then use a workflow or script to create the new customer record if required. The nice thing about your customer record form is that you can pre-populate it with the appropriate customer…

This is a well known issue amongst NS users. And there's no great answer. Unfortunately there are so many fields on each record type that you'd never catch up with new releases etc. You'd have to compile separate lists for searches and reports, each report type and for each record type. Then a new release would come out…

Custom Records is the way. Also, if you go to Help- NetSuite Central-Customer Web Seminars you'll find a video that uses a custom record. It's called Understanding Customer Satisfaction: Online Customer Satisfaction Surveys

I don't believe there is. The only time the "Quick add list view" appears at the bottom is when you first create the event. Once you save and go back to edit it the new note button appears.

I'll bet it's their Outlook plugin or Intellisync that's not logging in properly.

And by "may" he means definitely. Better off creating saved searches and adding the data you want to save to the results.

My customer is still down. I spoke to support, the urgency is known, and it's being worked on.
-
At least one of my customers having issues. - Issue still occurring, on phone with support.
-
To be clear, this has to do with your browser "remember password" settings. Turn this off for NetSuite.com.
-
Fix incoming tonight apparently.

252287 is the defect number I've been given. S1

Ben, we've done a lot of work with Pardot/NS customers. There are some ways around the behavior you describe, including simply running a daily mass update to remove the sales rep NS erroneously puts on the field. If you haven't figured it out yet let us know.

I am pretty sure that you can't do this exactly, but you can restrict certain roles to only have access to a particular list view or other search that only shows their own project tasks. Sorry if that's not the answer you're looking for.

I'd like to add my voice to this, after having logged the appropriate case etc. This is a big deal and is affecting a number of business processes in a number of customers, and no, I'm not going to log a case for each one.
-
I just talked to another customer this was affecting but they didn't realize it. How may Sales Reps are out there who stopped receiving lead notifications but don't know why? I'm not exactly sure what's so hard to reproduce. I now have 6 examples. Jan 7 is too far away.
-
I asked, just via case reply. No answer. I have 6 clients affected by this. Fun times.
-
Unfortunately there's no such thing, although there may be an add in out there somewhere for that. You can do a customer search and search for all customers where the "Message : Date" is today. That'll get you pointed in the right direction to see who's sending in messages. You might also want to do that for contacts.

/Agree with Javier But you could also set up some filters in your email system! ;-)
-
I just checked my exchange rates and they all updated today.
-
I've been told that if I look over anyones shoulder at a problem then the problem will go away. :-) Glad your issue is fixed

Are there people who are having problems who have already set up DKIM in NetSuite and have an SPF entry in their DNS record?
-
We are a Pardot and NetSuite Partner and have had good luck with the integration. Any syncing issues have been fixable with some useful insight from the Pardot Support team.

I normally recommend creating a couple of generic temp accounts if you're never going to see the people again. For medium term and longer term temps and contract workers, definitely create "real" employee records, flagged as contract workers.
-
I am not seeing the time management function on the app, although the feature is on in our account.
-
Haha, ran into this issue before. It seems to me that {id} is not documented and doesn't appear when you try to figure out a formula in the app.
-
I haven't looked into this but I was just browsing here on a related issue. Try using the billing or shipping address specifically. I've had better luck with those. I'm also not sure you should use "current record" Play around with when the value gets set. Particularly, use a transition, one that gets initiated with a…

This is a very common request of NetSuite users. If anyone digs up an enhancement request please post it here.
