wow- I feel for you. Listing the defect number in here and asking for help is a great step.

yep- not yet fixed. Another conversation regarding this: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=14123&highlight=enhancement

sounds like your cache is full. You might try to clear all temp internet files and try again. This tends to happen to me on busy weeks when I forget to empty it daily and am using IE. just a stab in the dark, it might help......:D

we have a number of invoices that were imported via web services which for no apparent reason have an incorrect COGS associated with them. normally the sku is at a $8 cost but these invoices have a cost of $15mil per item and our P/L for the year now shows something like negative $20 billion. editing and saving reverted a…

Apologies for all the confusion over this topic. Recently, it came to our attention via another Issue that "failed login email(s)" were being received by only a single Administrator. We changed this to send to all Administrators, but that was reported by customers as being undesirable as well and was removed. Enhancement #…

Flaw or Gaps is just nomenclature (you say check, I say cheque :D ). Either way, the program is lagging behind the user’s desired workflows. It would be nice to get an answer from NS – what is the determining factor for NS Log-in failure notices? So while we all agree that it would be nice to know, with the roll-out of…

I learned a long time ago as an application designer that all data used by the app should be accessible by the customer administrator. Failing that, someone at that company has to know the answer here if we are wrong, and the simple act of communicating the truth would go a long way. An ER with sketchy details tells us…

I just looked at my company record in NetSuite's account. From what I see, it looks like the log-in failure notice goes to the primary email address for the company record in NetSuite's account. You should be able to contact either your solution provider or NetSuite sales rep to get this changed. Um, I'm not following you…

Currently, there is no method for selecting which Administrator(s) receive failed login notifications. However, Enhancement # 148014 tracks this request. Please add your vote to the enhancement via the Customer Center. Thanks, Ted Since Enhancement center is down there is no way to find the details for this. Not sure I…

could be a chicken with a design flaw. :D One frustrated attitude - $5.00 (tylenol) One 20oz glass of milk dropped on desk - $.75 One Wireless Keyboard - $60.00 One cat woken in lap from milk saturation - bleeding Lobbing an easy pitch to a guy up north in hopes he has a good sense of humor and having underwood come in and…

No worried about challending my answer Angela - part of the beauty of this forum. Currently there is no way for customers to determine which administrator received the log-in failure notification - great enhancement request. This is to which Ted is referring. But, and I'd like to hear this from NS, every account in the…

I am still working on this with FedEx. Should at least have a definitive answer to the question next week. Hello Again Malin. Two weeks to the day and counting. An update would be appreciated.. any update, at this point.

(bump) and here we are, into another week. I feel so alone all of a sudden. :(

Angela, We've made the change to allow multiple packages when shipping FedEx international. The issue # is 151292 and is targeted to the next phase of the fall release, scheduled for 09/04/2008. Thanks. Tom And Ladies and Gentlemen of the Netsuite Community, all of the original hard work the development team has done to…

We must confirm that the same workflow is valid for UPS before we make a behavior change for fulfillments. I can't say exactly when this will be finished, but it's in my queue. want some help with that confirmation? :D
-
Unfortunately this is not so much a bug as larger design limitation requiring significant UI design and development work... because NetSuite does not associate items being fulfilled with a particular package, and the customs documentation requires a listing of items shipped, we restrict fulfillments to a single package for…

Hi Brian, Here is a tip for next time: from an admin role, go into the screen you want to grant permission to copy the URL switch to your role with the restriction you want to change. paste in the URL it should tell you exactly what permissions you need to add to the role. kinda handy trick- saves on the frustration for me…

Heya Malin, (nudge) It's next week, sunshine :D any chance you have some news for us? Just to share my thoughts, and perhaps head off some serious animosity, if your Fedex contact reconfirms information that is contradicted on the Fedex website, you may want to pass along the contact info for someone at Fedex. Not to be…

Hi Malin, I realize that with the recent release, your a busy guy. So, instead of hoping you would handle this for us, I decided to see if I could help a bit. I went ahead and filed the case 761563: Sent: Monday , August 18, 2008 11:27 am PDT (GMT-07:00) Subject: Integrated Shipping Case moved to Accounting. Customer…

That's not what we were told by FedEx. I will double check next week, but both QA and dev have confirmed this is why the limitation was put in place when we implemented international FedEx shipping. Hello again, Malin :D Not trying to be pushy or anything, but since next week is now upon us, I figured I may provide a bit…

Update: One thing I have learned in life is that crow is a dish best eaten warm. ;) Often, when I call support, I find myself frustrated, as I was today. It seems that I jumped the gun a bit, and need to remember the art of patience~ Evan, Dantow, support is sure coming through lately-today I got a live one...Michelle, the…

See my post above - looks like they might be fudging the numbers? Maybe to please the shareholders? If its wrong today how can we be sure if any other days have not been messed with either? Something to think about huh? Or they were focusing on resolving the issue in order to then actually have an established number to…

Hello Ted, I ran into this- at one point it even gave me an error when I tried to go to the customer login page for netsuite. lol Anyway, It is refreshing and so much appreciated that I was able to log in here, read the thread, and see that the issue is resolved. ALthough, I experienced just having it crash a couple of…

Jay, I agree with much of what you say about what a great product NetSuite is, and how we all appreciate Evan's participation in this forum. I too like to be positive. But I've learned that you can't fix a problem until you recognize and accept that it exists. I've also seen many companies that have learned to live with…

I just took a moment and did the math for this. .3 serious or urgent defects per customer. For every 100 customers = 30 serious or urgent defects leads to the question of how many customers? irregardless, is this number considered acceptable, and is it your expectation that as NS grows, this ratio will remain consistent?…
-
Just to reiterate what I was hoping for in this thread:

"casting your vote" for increased attention and effort on defects AKA "Fix it, plug the holes, etc.!".
stop tossing defects in the enhancement bucket.
etc.
If we let it slip into the rant we all have burning inside us right now it won't have it's…

I have come back to this thread several times, and am already seeing the standoff begin. In many ways, I have removed myself from the user group, being unable to participate in ways that I feel are productive. I am still around, coming in to research things, but overall, my own job and life keep me rather entertained. I…

This seems to have come back into play - same exact issue, new instance. please see case # 748750, and advise. Whoops- I didn't follow up- my bad. It seems that my reoccurance may have been nothing more than a PICNIC error. False alarm, NS gods :p thanks anyway. Towerstream- if you have this issue, may want to latch on to…

Defect 145135 will resolve a problem where the open invoices of some polymorphic entities (ie both a vendor and customer) are not showing up on the accept payments screen as well as the apply tab of credit memos. We are planning to release the fix for this issue today. I am seeing this fixed in my instance. Thanks for the…
