Jason, Thanks for enabling "Edit" on our posts. RSS feed, which indeed would be cool, is understandably a non-starter for you given its open nature. Hope you make progress on that alternative add-on that will allow daily email digests. Glad also to see NetSuite folks finally poking their head above the sand to engage in…

Add "old" to the web address as follows: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/netsuiteug?go=xxxxxxx ...becomes https://oldusergroup.netsuite.com/netsuiteug?go=xxxxxxx

Thanks for the response, Michele. A couple of humble suggestions: 1. Implement an estimated hold time voice announce when calling in. Let me tell you, yesterday on hold part of my debate at minute 49 was: "What's more important - excusing myself to go to the men's room, or hanging in there to try to fix my employee's…

You can set the CSID (name that appears on top of your faxes) on the efax website: - Login to efax. - Go to Preferences - Send Options - Set the CSID to your Company Name I'm not sure I've audited it in a long time. I just assume the CSID specified on the efax site is indeed what is printed on the header of all outgoing…

On hold, currently for 51 min, in response to a CSR email saying "please contact us asap regarding your issue." What is wrong with this picture? Here are my top 2: 1. NetSuite has 100% of my contact information in my customer record. I don't know how long it will bug me that they didn't pick up the phone and call me. 2.…

JUst to update how Support is doing with our remodeling efforts. The additonal staffing has had a positive impact with Gold ASA now under 5 minutes on average and Silver under 7 minutes. We will continue with our work to ensure excellent service levels. Kind Regards - James Dantow, Mgr of Support. James, Well, I have…

posted 5-12-2006 Brian, As you know, we have started to phase out Version 11 to our customers. Because of this, our team has been able to manage the volume of calls and cases quite well. Due to additional team members now out of training, I think you will see your wait times in queue decline over the next few weeks. Less…

How does NetSuite define "Someone will be right with you..." ?? 61 minutes and counting (Silver Support). Please give me an estimated hold time, or at least modify the "someone will be right with you" recording to avoid adding insult to injury...

Sean, THANK YOU! Get authorization (to re-authorize) is back. I'm grateful.

That's an interesting and creative possible workaround, Nick. It would, however, be nice for some NetSuite employee to acknowledge that this recent "improvement" that someone dreamed up in NetSuite's basement without consulting customers who do this in the real world - has resulted in a broken process that NetSuite needs…

Anyone form NetSuite - can you tell us if there is any news on a release date for this enhancement? We process a lot of backorders, and it is very time consuming to go into each order individually to get the reauthorization. You may be bummed to know that for orders created after this weekend, you can't even do this. NO…

Let me understand this... They are reducing the monthly rate to $20 from $59, but now want .30 per transaction. The $59 rate included 1000 transactions. We do about 300 transactions per month... which means I would pay $110 ($20 plus $90) instead of $59. I'll say that's shaking things up. The rate is certainly attractive…

Say what? Apples and oranges? There are three elements... monthly flat gateway fee, per transaction fee, and merchant "discount" rate. The current rate flat monthly gateway fee is $59, there is no per transaction fee until after 1000 transactions (then it is .10 per transaction), and then whatever your current merchant…

Thanks all. I will start getting the process going and keep you updated. It seems like the best rates that we have found so far is by using the payflow pro from paypal and Wells Fargo for our merchant services. Those percentages add up! PayPal is indeed shaking things up. They are pre-releasing a new consolidated…

I have these exact issues - any help? You probably need to be more specific on which issues. If you are referring to re-authorization, then issues related to this have been successfully re-enabled by NetSuite, thanks to the very proactive help by Sean.

“We have a substantial issue with not being able to re-authorize credit cards from a sales / process flow point of view" Sales Order Process Flow : Our sales people are responsible for taking orders over the phone along with the credit card information. A manager then reviews the orders for accuracy and matching address…

Workarounds are helpful, but what we really need is a re-authorization procedure. Not playing very nice of NetSuite to take away my reauthorization workaround, and not give me something in replacement. For example, today I have a web customer whose billing address came back no match. Got an updated billing address. And, by…

We use Payflow Pro and Paypal for our CC processing. They only guaranttee funds for 3 days although you can use the PNREF # for 30 days. What we have to do is rather laborious. If there is a change to the order (increase in sale) or its after the 3 days. We void the authorization with in the merchant account. We then edit…

Submitted Enhancement Request under Case # 533030 (Enhancement # not assigned yet) Let us know when you get an enhancement #. A more automated way of authorizing / re-authorizing would be great. Secondarily, some way of being able to do a Sales Order w/ one authorization --> multiple fulfillments --> multiple cash sales…

Can I ask what you heard? Go into a sales order created after this weekend whose CC has been authorized and you will see that you cannot reauthorize - not if the sales order amount changes (which is required, in my case, or else the capture of the CC transaction will be declined), or if the authorization expires and you…

If you are saying that Moneris, on a Amex Corporate Card transaction for $4.99, charges you only $0.13 in merchant fees, then you have a deal that I have never heard of and should not switch.

I don't know what you mean by group, or how it would allow me to achieve this. Go to the Global Search box in the upper right of your NetSuite window and type: new groups

On Macs: Safari 4 beta for speed, Firefox if add-ons are important.

does anyone have a script that they would be willing to share would check (in this case) whether someone has ordered in multiples of 4? Ideally, I'd love a pop-up if not multiple of 4 that says something like: "Please order in multiples of 4. Otherwise, shipping odd-quantities will incur a surcharge of $10"
-
There must be hundreds of requests for it then.... Respectfully, I think this is flawed logic. Enhancement Request votes are necessarily going to skew towards issues that cause people pain - and not towards enhancements that can provide tremendous future opportunity because of a more fully realized NetSuite implementation.…

Any update on this? Will 2008.1 fix customers selecting an address and having that address become the default? Very annoying.
-
Just to chime in that this is ridiculous. 10 records? Time to loosen up, NetSuite. And also: - if you are going to have a crazily small limitation, mention this fact on the page - perhaps considering limiting the # of records per page to the # that can be merged. This remains silly.
-
I'm sure at least half of our data used is due to system notes updating UPC code tens of thousands of times upon accumulated order fulfillments... I make light of this admitted bug, but it points to several broader comments: - I don't believe that we have any control over the level of system notes logging, which I assume…

3. Ditto, as BasilFawlty said: provide a way for us to SEE how much storage space we're using. Cecelia Ditto. Give us a simple adminstrator dashboard, NetSuite!

We use both kits and assemblies for different reasons. Kits - we use kits for items that we sell bundled together...each item is also sold separately.....and each item may be a member of several kits. The important consideration here is that the kit can be given a separate price, and the kit availability depends upon the…
