My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

I did, just now. You can close this request. We changed the field that triggers the saved search so we don't need to use these fields any more.
-
Do you wish to see the setup criteria for each saved search or just the results?

Okay, I am still confused after reading this thread. Here is our scenario: The original SO/Cash Sale was received damaged; we issued a replacement order, but the rep failed to enter it at no charge, so the replacement order generated a cash sale in addition to the original order. I need to generate a transaction to correct…

The schedule defaults to Daily regardless of my selection at the top. I just wanted to be sure nothing needed to be changed on the Schedule tab. Thank you for your help!!
-
So, if I only want to send the email when records are created, I check the box that says, "Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated" but un-check the "Send on Update"? Please confirm if this is correct. Then, on the SCHEDULE tab, do I select "Single Event" or "Daily Event"?

Have you tried including in your Criteria System Notes Fields : Old Value and select Design?

Sorry for the delay - I had an accident and was offline for a while. I think I got it. On my CSV import, I need to select the NetSuite Field Sales Order : Location as well as the Sales Order - Items : Location fields. Is that correct?
-
That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the idea to submit an enhancement request!
-
I ran a CSV import to update the LOCATION but the line level Location did not update. Why would this be?
-
Thanks @Mark Chuberka - a CSV import to update records was my second option if this option was not available.

If you utilize a status field within your transactions, you can use a saved search to dictate if the transaction is in "X" status, populate onto the saved search. there must be a date field included on the saved search for it to appear in Reminders, and we use this status field, among others for me to manage my workload.…

I am in Findlay, OH and YES YES YES!

Is there a way to include the TIME that the inventory on hand quantity changed? I'm thinking the date/time that the inventory record (Item Fulfillment or Inventory Adjustment record) was created, but I cannot seem to find a way to incorporate that into this report.
-
The PO Expected Receipt Date does have the "Store Value" checked. I'm sure there was a reason why we did this, I will need to check with our developers before I can un-check this box to make sure we don't disrupt other functionality.
-
Do we need to be using Supply Allocation for that field to work? I pasted the field above into my formula and it produced an error: TO_CHAR({allocatedsupply.expecteddate}, 'MM/DD/YYYY')
-
The Sales Order Ship Date field is used to determine when we must ship the order to the customer. We are looking to provide our customer with the date we are expected to receive inventory replenishment for existing back orders.
-
Okay, so I should be able to pull a custom field from our purchase order records that would contain the same information, right? For instance, we have a custom field {purchaseorder.custbodypo_expected_receipt_date} When I replace that into the formula, the field is still blank, even though there is data populated on a…

We had to submit a ticket with NetSuite, who recommended that we reinstall the bundle. That resolved the issue for now.
-
Thanks. We will take a look at those.

These are mostly sales order and customer records, and the users experiencing this problem work within sales order and customer records all day long, so there should never be a problem with access permissions... unless you're referring to a different type of access permission.

How will that help when the file does not drop?
-
It's been going on for over a month. We've tried clearing our internet browser cache, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I thought it was just me, but another user asked this very question yesterday during a team meeting and several others agreed they had experienced the same, so I thought I should ask.
-
I haven't been able to determine a work around yet. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your efforts.
-
I have made this change to my saved searches and will let you know if that works.

I created a saved search to send an email to a specific person (me, for testing purposes) when a sales order's status changes from Pending Billing to Billed but I did not receive any email notification. I verified the criteria: I set the EMAIL: Specific Recipients to my user account. I set the Updated Fields to Field:…

Here is an example: ABC Company is authorized to sell 120 items. We set up a Pricing Level that contains these items at the price they can buy them for. We now want to send them an inventory saved search using the email automation within the ITEM saved search for just those 120 items. The results should display the…

Sorry for the delay in response. I've been working on other projects and just now had time to revisit this user request. After further discussion with the user, he just needs to see a total count of sales orders received/entered, and how many of those records contained changes. So I believe the formula should be modified…
