My point is that it seems to be common practice for NetSuite to produce 1/2 complete add-ons, charge you a fortune for them and then tell you they don't work and to wait for an enhancement. No, the formulas do not work. I just get "-5" for everything. I have tried replacing Location #1 and Location#2 with the names of the locations and the internal IDs. It does not work.

What may work is if we can add the Status "Pending Fulfillment" to the criteria. Our orders all go to Pending Approval first. If I click the "Approve" button, then it can send the email automatically. However, if it has already sent an email, I do not want it to send a 2nd or 3rd, each time I save. How would I do this ?

No, this does not help. This will automatically send an email when I save the sales order, whether I am ready to send it or not. This is not what I want, I simply want the email form to default to the correct template for sales orders, so I can avoid a bunch of extra clicks.

Thank you. I appreciate the help. I was able to find a developer to script a solution that looks at the "Reply-To" address uses that for connecting to the customer record. It seems to work very well.

Well that’s extremely unhelpful. we never seem to get an answer to any NetSuite questions. It’s always either an “enhancement” or “call a developer”

Also NO, in the headers the From and Reply To are not the same. The From is info@formbuilder.hulkapps.com and the Reply-To is chris@xxxx.xxx It is confusing because the portion between the quotes is also the Reply-To name but that is the senders name, not email.
