Class can be used for multiple things. In our company we use Class to group our products and manage discounts for those products. We use Department for our internal departments. We use a custom field to designate what kind of Customer as we also have a mix of distributors, retailers, individuals, etc.

We accept over 200 products for repair and for use as a template. We use a NonInventory item to bring the product back so that it does not impact our inventory. I created a custom RA form that serves as a return label on the product. These combined with Dashboard reminders help direct product to 3 different departments for…

Scott and K. thanks for the help. You solved my Divide by Zero error. What I was trying ultimately failed because I am comparing invoices for a particular customer to their credit memos to get a percentage ratio for product warranty. Since they are invoices and credit memos one of my two columns always contained zero…

I have a saved transaction search on my Customer Center. Natively it pulls only the transactions for that customer.

After a year on NS our searches and reports are growing exponentially. In lieu of a folder system, I have begun appending the dept/group to the front of the search as in: CSR:Customer Item Reference, HRS:Employee Access, FIN:Credits Processed, etc. This at least lets me sort by group and find what searches I have created…

Check your form. The Inactive field is native and it may have been inadvertently hidden when your Customer Entity form was modified. It shows on ours.

We are doing the same thing for ProForma invoices. I created a Sales Order format named ProForma Invoice and customized the PDF by changing the document name and the TranId field to read ProForma. Seems to work fine for us. My AP person can simply change the view on the sales order and print it.

We experienced a similar situation in April and a defect was filed. The problem popped up out of the blue after having scripts in place for a number of months. In our case it was initially happening with new sales orders. Subsequently it began happening when we were editing fields and on submit the sales order didn't…

We had a similar problem in that we didn't want to lock down order entry because we had a customer on credit review. We implemented a script that requires A/R to approve each sales order if the custom field in the customer record is set to require A/R Approval.

We use a similar system in that our faxes come into our Notes email server as PDF attachments. We then either attach the file to a NS transaction or we store it in a local server with all of the documents related to that transaction. We placed a hyperlink on our transaction form that opens the folder on the local server…

We have done something similar to this using a custom record and a Non Inventory item to track dealer points for a promotion. As we sell to a distributor who sells to the dealer, the distributor is our customer. By using a special customer account as the redemption customer, with some tweaking we now can add and subtract…

We use both SPS and B2B with a limited number of customers. Our experience with both has thus far been fairly good. We have several larger customers that use SPS and that is how we ended up with them. There appears to be some difference between the two in flexibility. From our experience SPS is more platform oriented. This…

This numeric formula appears to be working in a similar search we use. (({systemnotes.date}-{trandate})/7)*5

Evan - thanks for the prompt help. It worked! Obviously a brain fade on my part.

Tried System2 and same response

NE Ohio. We are dragging very badly. Simple recall of a transaction is 94.67% NS server. Has my plant at a standstill.

Similar issues on VP Ops role using XP and IE8. Problem doesn't exist on Windows 7 and IE9 in this case when on a different workstation. User doesn't have same issue when using a different role. Loads in Chrome though slow.

In my case this filter is a Custom List and I find no way to set a default value to NONE other than by a criteria in the search. If I set a criteria in the search to NONE, I get no results until I now set the filter in the search to ALL. Search has worked fine until just the past few days.
-
Experiencing the same issue. It appears the saved search is storing the filters and will not reset itself. For example, searching for a Sales Order by Customer purchase order number. When I open the search and check the filters at the bottom, one is set to ALL. I change just this filter to NONE and the customer's purchase…

We created a separate packing slip form without the logo to use for a customer we blind ship for.

We have 6 manufacturer's sales agencies that we have given access as employees. This gave us greater flexibility in providing information and we feel the extra seat licenses cost is outweighted by the advantages.

If the NO MUSIC button is not an option, at least add some variety. Fourteen plus minutes on average of the same music when on a support call is far too much to bear. Bring back Muzak!
