If the fedex file has the SO #, you should be able to create a custom field to store "Actual Shipping Cost" and do a CSV import. Then you can create reports to compare the Charged Shipping Cost to the Actual.
-
Your Shipping Expense would normally be reflected (like most expenses) on the vendor bill.

In the Workflow Sent Email To field, you need to use the Free Form Address field. According to the field help: If you want the recipient of the email to be a static value, select the Specific Recipient radio button, and set the recipient in the field below the radio button. If you want to send the email to recipients who…

If you go to Setup -> Company -> System Email Templates an look at their code you will see a section: <table class="itemtable" style="width: 100%; margin-top: 10px;"> <thead> <tr> <th colspan="8" style="text-align: left;">Item</th> <th align="left" colspan="12">Description</th> <th align="right" colspan="4">Qty</th> </tr>…

I have looked through the above but I am having problems. We are sending emails to Leads during various portions of the sales process. I have a marketing template that looks and works perfectly EXCEPT in the body of the email we are trying to insert the sales rep info. I have verified my test Lead has a sales rep marked as…

I believe what you are looking for is the "Inventory Location" to represent the location being reported by that line and then Location Available, Location On Hand, etc.
-
If they are custom fields on the Employee record I would do a search instead of a report.
-
I would use the inventory turnover report. It factors in what is on hand as well as sales.
-
Yes, sort of. What you want is a transaction search of fulfillments. Group byb Item, summary type date select Maximum, this gets the last fulfillment date, Possibly do a formula to get # days between that date and today? Also know that if an item does not have a fulfillment against it, it will not show up in the list.
-
That would be reports and not saved searches.
-
I would suggest ODBC and Crystal Reports. The ODBC driver gives access to most (but not all) of NetSuite and Crystal will give you almost unlimited flexibility.
-
Transaction Search. Criteria: Date Created = Yesterday, Posting = Yes Results would be your fields specified above (but mapped to the proper NetSuite fields)
-
Unfortunately I am also scripting challenged. One of my customers uses the Celigo Integrator I/O tool to run the searches and then export to FTP server (which I absolutely love).
-
The data extract should be a simple saved search ran after midnight for any GL posting transactions that were created on the Previous Day. The fun part (and I do not script) is to have a script run that runs the search and exports to the FTP site.
-
I used to do that with the Inventory Activity report and showing a running balance. I would export to excel to do some date math to get the number of days between transactions to see how long it was at zero stock level.
-
It would be a transaction search type=Bill Payment. I believe the join to the Bill is either the Applied To... or Applying... Records. I always have to select each as I always forget which to use.
-
Could you create a custom field for Locations and add the continent to each of your locations? Customization -> Lists, Records & Fields -> Other Custom Records Then include that field on your reports?
-
Not 100% sure this would work BUT you could create a custom record that mimics the Countries (Setup -> Company -> Countries The customer record would have the country as well as the continent (selected from a custom list you would need to create). On Sales Order create custom field sourced from the country in the address…
-
Total Revenue should just be the sum of the Income accounts in the GL.
-
Sean, Not sure on exceptions as we have not used. Under the covers uses standard ACH transactions so most notably would get: Insufficient Funds Invalid Account I will dig around their boards for more info. Lots of great info here- http://help.dwolla.com/ ) And thank you very much for the reply! John
-
Yes, exactly! We have been on NetSuite (through NetSuite Direct) since prior to SuiteSuccess existed
-
Glad you liked the site! Yes, we are hoping Dwolla takes off. Credit card and PayPal fees are crazy.
-
Bump... Anyone?
-
It is "OK" to do that and no, (unless you have made it required) you do not need a fake email. You may just want to do your sales report by state instead of Sales Manager unless you need the sales manager number.
-
We just uninstalled the bundle about a month after go live for the very same reasons that started this thread.
-
Jim, Just a HUGE guess, but possibly Mass Update permission?
-
In that case, yes, do forecasting from the opportunity as a customer will not purchase 3 different counter tops... Just make sure you have Forecast Type on Estimates to Omitted.
-
kkregowski, it is a setting in Setup -> Company -> General Preferences. "Add Primary Contact to Bill To Address"
-
The way I have always looked at it based upon training from NetSuite: 1) Opportunity record are where you store the items that you feel are a good fit for a customer based upon industry, need, fit, etc. They have not made an inquiry into purchasing a specific product (or products). You can capture Probability for gaining…
