It was suggested by @Grace Catabian-Oracle: You may create a workflow with 1 state and on that state, create a new Set Field Value action and the field would be the custom field. The condition would be that if the checkbox was ticked, the value would be the location. On the Workflow Action screen: I set the field to be the…

@Tris Mendoza-Oracle - I have requested a screenshot from one of our users
-
Apparently, our user has several lines already in the new BOM when she hits an item that isn't in the subsidiary, it all disappears. She would like it to give an error message and then allow her to continue with other part numbers instead of forcing her to start over from the beginning
-
I'm using a Custom Transaction Form (…Content List BOM), Type: Bill of Materials, HTML Layout: Standard HTML BOM Layout, PDF Layout: BOM Content List Layout I still don't know what you mean by a code (sorry!)
-
I was able to create a single state workflow, but have no idea how to create a new Set Field Value action using the custom field. Nor do I know how to make the value would be the location when the checkbox is ticked
-
So, any idea how I can get this data pulled into an Invoice?
-
I was able to create 2 saved searches (as stated above). Am just waiting to hear back from the user who requested this to see if it satisfies requirements. Will certainly let you know as soon as I know anything for sure. Thank you!
-
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking for. What code?
-
As you can see, I was able to get the Item number to show up before the Description in the top table, but I cannot find any indication where the bottom table comes from or how to edit it:
-
I changed the name of the var custbody54 to the name of the field we use, but don't know what else I should've changed in the script you suggested above. I have never used any scripts in NetSuite before Thank you for your attempts to help!
-
I was finally able to create a script from the uploaded file, but it caused errors in Production: Environment: Production Record Type: Invoice Internal ID: 209201 Script: Load Notes from Item Fulfillment Type: User Event Function: beforeLoad_getItemShip Error: UNEXPECTED_ERROR TypeError: Cannot call method "getParameter"…
-
Instead, I created 2 searches by Item using Subsidiary as a filter.
-
@Angela Bayliss Thank you for your reply. When I try to create a saved search of Subsidiary, there is no "Item" available as a filter:
-
@Angelica Mae Segador-Oracle - You said: "Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Scripts > New > User Event" When I navigate to Customization > Scripting > Scripts > New, there is no "User Event." It just takes me to an "Upload Script File" page, where I can select the script file I uploaded, but when I click on the…

No idea why I can't find this enhancement. I've tried multiple permutations, using "enhancement 99624", and searching for words like "have the value carry forward to Invoice", etc. Nothing works. Just FYI
-
I was able to find the form controlling which fields print on the BOM in Custom Transaction Forms (Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms). However, there is no indication where the second table (see first picture above) info is coming from!
-
I found the fields in the Transaction Body Fields. Had to filter by "From Bundle" - None So, even though I made the custbody19 field's source the Item Fulfillment Customer Notes field, the data isn't being pulled into the Sales Order or Invoice forms when loaded @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle - SuiteIdeas says it can't find…
-
@Nicole Mendoza-Oracle - I have no idea how I would use a script to do this! Perhaps if I could add a custom field to the Invoice form and have it sourced from the custom Notes field on the IF, it might work. The problem is, I can't find the Notes fields (custbody17 or custbody19). They're not in the Transaction Body Fields
-
I have a similar question. Our users would like information pulled from the Item Fulfillment (vs from the Sales Order) into the Invoice. That way, if changes have been made to freight or shipping address they will carry over into the Invoice. They would also like the Customer Notes to pull from the IF to the Invoice
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle - I just ticked the "Show" box on the MPN (from MPN searchable) field in the Sublist Fields and it's showing up now! I had no idea that same field would be in multiple locations in the form! Thank you all for your persistence and help!
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle - This is from the Screen Fields tab, Expenses subtab:
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle - I created a new Transaction Line field according to your instructions above and added it to the Purchase Order form. However, it still does not pull in the data from the MPN (searchable) field
-
@Angela Bayliss - The Non-Inventory Item form uses MPN (searchable), which is defined as a Custom Item Field that applies to Inventory Items, Non-Inventory Items, and Assembly/Bill of Materials. The field in the Purchase Order form is MPN, which is defined as a Transaction Line Field that applies to Expenses, Purchase…
-
@Angela Bayliss - The field associated with Non-Inventory Items is a Custom Item Field [MPN (searchable)], the other is a Transaction Line Field associated with Purchase Orders. There doesn't seem to be an option to associate one field with both forms
-
@Angela Bayliss - No offense taken! I just wasn't understanding what you were saying. I don't think it's a matter of printing the MPN, just getting the data into the P.O. entry screen from Non-Inventory Items. Thank you for trying to help! 🙂
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle - The MPN field on the Items subtab of the Purchase Order in the screenshot above is a custom field (custcol4): The problem is, the entry screen for Non-Inventory Items uses a different custom field called MPN (searchable) (custitem_mpn_searchable): We would like the info from the MPN…
-
@Jervin Nicholas Teopengco-Oracle - If we could get the MPN (searchable) field data to be pulled in, that would work, too. The problem is, nothing is coming in!
-
@Angela Bayliss - I'm not sure what you're talking about. When a Purchase Order is being entered, the Part# (Internal Part #) is entered on the Items tab. At that point, the MPN should be pulled in, but it isn't
-
I would also like to be able to use this same field in the Non-Inventory entry form
