My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

2. Credit card fields still appear in checkout, but greyed out, when PayPal is the only payment method. Actually a duplicate of another enhancement req. in the queue, 90735. I agree this is a bit confusing and the web team is planning on changing it in a future release. In the meantime, you could use web site customization…

Thanks Yang.

We use Mailchimp, easy to connect and much easier, cheaper, faster, better delivery rates, etc. There are other 3rd party options, you will not look back.
-
The Mailchimp connector records in NS a brief log of the events, yes. When you set it up you can select to record info back into NS + if the recipient unsubscribes that is also updated in NS.
-
Is that because of the mail-chimp "Inbox Inspector" that helps you avoid spam filters? Not sure, but it's true, they get delivered. Using NS before they did not..
-
we sent 80,000+ x4 times a month with mail chimp $483... I think same volume at CC is $450
-
Sorry I meant cost savings in comparison to Netsuite. We were looking at something like an additional $1600 per month to run the same volume of emails via Netsuite vs current $300 per month with CC. Agreed, same using NS was massively more + bad delivery rates, its a no brainer NS is not even in the race.
-
I agree here also, I recently did set this up and basically winged it. I felt uncomfortable with it. Some walkthroughs as Andy says would be very helpful. I sometimes find the help too dry, I understand that it's to keep it simple but with some areas (such as this one) more fleshy help would (for me at least) made life…

You would create the custom fields 1st. Then create your HTML using those fields, you will be able to search on results. The help has more answers than me though...:) Good Luck!
-
Methinks it is Excel for reporting :o https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=5616
-
Is this not possible through a custom field? Example; Subscribe = Yes Custom Subscribe level 1 = Yes Custom Subscribe level 2 = No Then when creating your marketed to groups create the searches using these filters... Does that help? - (Ray beat me to it :))
-
No it's not going to record that contact having recieved the marketing (unless you do another import back which updates something or other - who wants to do that? ) NetSuite could and should fix this, is would be very easy (?) other programs seem to do this with ease. One System - some limits :p
-
As a workaround can you export a search of the data you want to excel and then create a mail merge from the exported data - will that work for you?
-
So yes, we have lots of bounces also. So I have added the following to my saved searchs for campaign use; Filter Campaign : Response is not Bounced - Other I think this excludes them for future mailings....
-
Can someone please post the script needed to fix this problem? Having new records set by default to unsubscribe is a real pain.
-
someone upstairs at NS must think it is ok to be out of touch.. kind of amazing in the 'cloud' world that this is so massively crap. Embarrassing! NetSuite FAIL Bring on outlook2010 sync.
-
Reading 'A day at Netsuite' http://www.netsuite.com/portal/career/netsuite-day.shtml it seems very clear that email (and I understand they use outlook) is a big part of how they do things.. guess they just don't use the current version?
-
But be prepared to wait. :(
-
There are some other posts related to this. My experience has been that they are not reliable (sofar) & we have given up on them. They do seem to work somewhat, but for example if you remove people from the "send to" list they may still receive them (a "workaround" would be to delete the scheduled report and then recreate…
-
Thanks Lina! that is good news :) I am always a little perplexed though, when I read so often in this forum "planned for a future release" :(
-
Outlook Syncronization Tasks & Events? anything happening here? Do any other Netsuite users have mobile teams?
-
Yes it is Kooky! the user must admin for the admin!! Admin can be a little topsy turvy with NS :p , It's a PITA.
-
here are some forum links; https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=11400&highlight=calendar https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=2761&highlight=calendar to create a group calendar list>relationship>groups also if they have shared to you, should see a list toggle at the base of your calendar.…

4 votes and counting :o .

I would also like to vote for this ER, but cannot find it to vote. The workaround suggested is truly appalling. It also FAILS when a user changes what has been setup for them. What fun to log in to my 50 users and change it, then have them change it back anyway? ADMIN FAIL!
-
Thank you support: > Ask the member (i think they mean owner) of that Calendar Group to login to NetSuite > Go to Activities > Scheduling > Calendar > Click the Calendar Preferences > Sharing = Defined Below > Calendar Access tab > Grant Access To = select your name > Access Level = View > Can Access Private Events >…

Hi All, We have enhancement 76281: Ability for Administrator to change the Default setting (Public/Private/etc...) for all User's Calendars, Calls, Events, and Tasks. You may also vote for this enhancement by navigating to Support > Customer Service > Netsuite Support Center > Enhancement Voting Cheers! Thanks Karl! I…

As far as I know for some strange reason Netsuite lets/makes the users define the calendar access permissions! *^((*&*&&*. Not only that but if your users mark things as "private" then the admin cannot view that data. Again, ^$*&%&$*. Maybe things will change?
-
That seems to happen with ER's sometimes they don't really get it right, or narrow in so tight they don't really capture whats needed. Hopefully, that (or some other) ER covers the requirement for admins to be able to admin the data in the system (Yes NetSuite that INCLUDES private activities - that IS data also, we PAY…
