Yes! great, they are getting more seminars available. It would be good to see more with a specific focus on empowering existing customers.

Angela, sorry I have no answers, only a question... For me that class was 4am (Thailand this week!) why is it that these classes are not available as pre-recorded? over at salesforce they have 100's of hours of free pre-recorded training available, what is the problem here at NetSuite?????????????????????????????
-
:( ... I'm adding my name to that....
-
Your posts are Awesome Jason! Thanks for your help :D On a lighter note my surname starts with B, so if fact Jason you are my manager!
-
maybe you can use workflow to do it.. but yeah you need to set the value
-
Is there a specific webex for this yet? - it's mentioned there would be in the Back Office preview. Thanks.
-
Hey Jim thanks for your advice - your totally correct and that is what I will do.

We are storing many and large documents in our m-files document vault, my idea was that I would export the metadata associated to these documents (say; location, employee, vendor, etc) and then maybe have an "mfiles" tab on those records where a list of links (custom records) to those docs would be (updated by an export from…

So now I can see that M-Files will shortly have an integration to NetSuite...... anyone out there getting on board with that? seems like it could be awesome for us anyways......anyone on this page? M-Files + NetSuite looks like a great hook up to me.

another terrible NetSuite, TINY little textarea Like a nasty plague!! like so many boxes these boxes need to be expanded - who decides to make them so tiny? why? is it good?
-
Yes, we are at the bottom of the pile. Don't forget us Aussies ;) ! way down in the southern hemisphere... we must be .01% of revenue!!!
-
sorry wrong thread.

But the reality is people's "must haves" differ greatly, and obviously we can't do every feature every competitor adds. Thanks, -e That's always going to be true, but the promotion Netsuite makes is very grandiose ("One System - No Limits") and it's easy for people to start thinking that's what they will get, then, if they…

I'd never feel comfortable recommending the product to anyone else, which is a shame as the product has definitely improved over the past two years. -Stephan Right with you there, Just today I had someone asking me for a comparison between NS and SF (mostly for CRM aspects 50+ users) I said NS is ok, but it's not easy to…

I must agree that netsuite's sales literature, demo accounts and reps/resellers are very unclear as to what is included as standard and what is sold as add-on modules. Right on, it's obviously policy - a bad one. I'd love it if this forum allowed polls, we could have all sorts of fun... "Were you sold the modules you…

I certainly would have found it useful to read before purchasing and I think I would have been happer with their sales process. So true! - look, it's a great product, but the way Netsuite approach certain things, like pricing information and help manuals is only working against them.
-
At least all this happened while you had been asleep  .
-
sorry, sent pm.
-
Totally agree, being able to customise that would be extremely helpful.
-
The status page is v slow to load, also is there any direct link to that dup merge status page?
-
Netsuite does not have this sophistication, so far as I know, unfortunately. We previously used Salesforce, it had many sharing options on all objects - such as cases.... So it can be done! Just not up on the list here to date.
-
What do we need to do to get Netsuite to get promos working?
-
only the sales rep and his superiors And/Or hers!!! :)
-
Does NS do that? from what I read vendors are all or nothing same with tasks, maybe contacts also. weird  ?
-
So it's kind of easy to get cases on vendors by using a vendors contact as the join, but then it's not possible to see that case from the vendor record itself. It's confusing to me, how do I explain this to users? Is there an ER to show the support tab on the vendors? Is there some other way I should think about this?
-
Yes I see that as an option, but it's confusing to explain to users what the heck is going on. It's a pain in the b*tt to switch views to get information... :o It's also confusing that the "support" tab is a "help desk" tab on the emp record & then vendor it's a complete no show! Relationships are not just customers... but…
-
I will be too - nice one Brian! Thanks :D
-
In other software we used the admin had access to a "Recycle Bin" where everthing users had deleted remained available to restore for 30days, maybe NS could give us an ER for something similar? I'd vote.
-
mmmm. gotta agree a bundle would be cool.. makes it easy for us all!
-
When you re-sign your contract with netsuite just say that the er you want is a deal-breaker ~ that might help :p
