Wow. so Netsuite sometimes wants T/F and then other wants; Yes/No? Else 'FAIL' = Yes / T Netsuite behaves this way as designed! :) Mostly though they are sorting it out!

um go custom centre, it might seem like more work, but then you have the control... thats what you want? do it It's only going to be an hour or so of clicks (max), then you're in the drivers seat.. why not?

We have a custom centre where we created all the tabs and links, there is no setup tab in it. The role which uses that centre has no setup permissions. Does that help?

True I see this often, shift refresh, clear the cache, log out/in, etc. Make sure you do that to ensure what you are trying to troubleshoot is current... And later when you forget this... remember it!

mmm maybe you are correct! I took a look at my custom centers and none have setup, so then i tested by giving my custom role a setup permission (import csv) went to that page in admin copied the url then went to my custom role and copy pasted the url to see what page would show - it landed on home, no setup appeared.. so…

I think if you just give a role setup permissions that tab will appear with those links.. been a while since I played with that, but try it I think that will work

Better yet, name fields consistently to begin with. Counter-intuitive is the name of the game with Netsuite reports in my experience, frustration can be an understatement. . Lets get out some old broken records and play them all again for fun! NS, sort this **** out, please?

For those NS Users who have only an occasional need to customize a report, search, or form, it can be extremely frustrating to the point that, after having wasted hours, the user just gives up. Very well put, What a shambles.
