Thanks Lina! So are you saying that no current ER exists that covers this? (subject : related to - VERY basic calendar functionality) What is your anticipated adoption of the Calendar? Is the Calendar currently used by many customers (you can report on this - right?). Is Netsuite internal practise just to use Outlook? (or…
-
Maybe someone at the top in NetSuite just fails to see this as important? That's my conclusion. Several of my own company's top people still use paper/other diary's and see calendar and activity management (in the app) as irrelevant to them (with the example trickling down to their subordinates...), maybe NetSuite has a…

Yep salesforce does it better, who knows why NS will not just mimic what is best practise?
-
I just got the details of this ER 106620 and Netsuite has reinterpreted my request as: Enhancement: Add ability to see Notes in mouse rollover pop-up content for Tasks on calendar I am again attempting to get an ER which is "show related info in calendar" Message to Netsuite; I feel that this ER has not been added to the…
-
Netsuite, What is your roadmap for this? Give us a glimmer of hope please!
-
not having a useable calendar is putting essentially a halt on total user accepting and using the system. Unfortunately, I can't blame them. They are use to Outlook and its ease of use by all. [LIST] [*]Yep, it's a problem. Do they see it?? [*]The issue of activity sharing also really blocks adoption, Do they see it??…

Search Inventory Transfers Might be easier to find if NS used logical naming in terms of the field name positioning in lists... eg. Location From Location To They way its done now; Location To Location Makes things hard way Harry! The need to scroll around finding fields that should sit close to each other in the lists is…

I wonder how many customer will sign up? I guess at NS HQ the demand planning add-on has that all figured out? = time phased ((based on seasonal demand), calculated on previous = 0) :)

Try setup > customization > custom subtab
-
I have to add to this & it sounds like sales pitch but it's true. As admin where we previously had 'synchronised/polled' databases at each location that needed an update when new versions of our previous software became available.. now I can enjoy sleeping through the upcoming update to 10.2, previously I would be working…

We have 60, apart from things like the report footer location options becoming a bit useless (the way it is rendered in browsers makes it virtually unusable) a constant nuisance is the easily fixed strain placed on users where inventory viewing is a pain. https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=22077 Anyways…

On the history tab, take a look at the transactions subtab, you can customise the search that shows there, is that what your after?
-
Thank you.

Oh, believe me, we CARE. When our clients are in pain we are in pain. ;) OK OK that was a bit much, I know you (& other consultants) want this also! :) - most likely NS does also, not sure why it's taking so long as it really would be great to stroll around this warehouse with a scanner create a csv and drop in an IAW..
-
Evan, Does Netsuite have any plans on improving the standard stocktake functionality? eg Stock adjustments via CSV import? or a way to use a wireless scanner directly into a Netsuite form to count items? 25816 Integration CSV - allow update of quantity on hand and value via CSV import Currently the 11th most popular…
-
Maybe I'm totally missing something here but this seems like a VERY simply change, and as its the 11th top voted Enhancement - it makes me question if the enhancement voting system is even looked at by netsuite staff... 100% agree, what is the problem? update SOH with CSV... so hard?
-
We are living the dream and I can tell you Netsuite REALLY needs to get this improved BIG TIME. Same with Transfer Orders. Currently it is .... not something I can really describe here.
-
Thank you @ Kent Anderson that saved me today!
-
The current state is that it can take 24 hours or longer for IWA to take effect. This means that everywhere in NS that you view the on hand count and costs are WRONG. For real? ZOMG! F- Bomb!
-
:D "The New, more Positive, NetSuite-friendly Steve!" :D

I am trying this for a while now but cannot get this field to show.... "Use as Category Only" check box. The thread is so old is this still applicable?
-
Currently we handle our inventory in another system, we are now considering to use NS. A key part of the way we handle goods are our internal "In-Transits". We create an intransit from 1 of our locations to another of our location and we create In-Transit paper work that the sender signs, then later the In-Transit arrives…

OK you got me! There is loads of help and it's good, I just had to type "upc" in the help. My problem finding it was looking under "I" in the help and going through each topic on Inventory and not seeing it there, I then when through the Inventory setup help and found only the reference I mentioned above. Maybe it's just…

If 'Is UPC' is checked, the bar code will print in UPC format. If not, it uses the more generic Code 128 format. Great, thanks for the information, if this is not already in the help, please include it for the next guy :)
-
It changes the format of the bar code that prints on item labels. Thanks, -e Thanks Evan - I guess it applies the check digits? Anyway it sounds as though if we use UPC, then Name is where they are designed to go, with the "Is UPC" checked, which we will now do. :)

Hi Chris, maybe you have some suggestions for me?? https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?p=4791#post4791 Thanks
-
I think this distinction is poorly (not) handled by Netsuite. When I look at 'on order', I want to see purchase orders, I have no interest in seeing transfers - that's goods I already purchased being moved around within my business. When you get down to it, it's really crap. In my business we have store locations (who only…
-
Its not just searches, see the 'on order' column on your items - all wrong. Should be either TO or PO, not a summary of both. Things on purchase order are very different to things already bought being moved around. Or maybe thats just me being weird!
-
Yes I have seen that and added it into the results, however I am using SUM and we have 60 locations and the results returned are many times greater than our SOH.
-
OK so now using 'Minimum' it works fine, thanks
