Without wishing to dwell on the previous problems, I think it would be a good idea to have a list of all the issues we've experienced during the last two VAT changes. That way it will help us be prepared for this one.

We currently have the German and Dutch reports in our list - are there any other EU reports available? Is there a complete list of all tax reports available? Thanks
-
Have you set the address in "Home > Set Preferences > General > From Email Address"
-
Any news on whether this has been fully fixed?
-
Might be worth checking with your account manager, we've been live with it for over a month now. You may want to wait a while longer though, it's not totally bug-free just yet :(

Switch on the option at: Set Up > Support > Set Up Support : Notification Tab > Assignment group. Select Templates at: Set Up > Support > Case Profiles: (Select your profile) then Notifications Tab > Employee Notification Templates
-
Thanks for the suggestion. Are you doing this with WorkFlows or Saved Searches?
-
As side issue, are there any plans to improve the Merge Duplicates option? Currently I have 4,000+ duplicates, and doing them manually 10 at a time is very painful.

Just started looking at InsiderView - and just wondering if anyone else is using the latest version? We're mainly looking to use it as a security fraud check for personal customers - IE, do they have a facebook profile etc - rather than for business opportunities. Anyone doing anything similar?

For "Buy One, Get One Free" promos, we use this suitelet from BlueBridgeOne... http://www.bluebridgeone.com/SuiteExtenders/Recently-Added/NetSuite-Promo-Item The Promo Item SuiteExtender enables items to be automatically added to Sales Orders based on predefined rules. Its ideal for implementing SPECIAL OFFERS, PROMOTIONS,…

Two search engine enhancements we have on the roadmap are Google Sitemaps (notifies Google about site changes) and an easy to publish site map (a page that links to every page on your site, thereby making it easier for the search engine to find all your pages). If these are important to your business, please vote for…

Yup :)

Ah sorry - yes, we use this formula in conjunction with the "Matrix Item" search criteria. Would this pairing do what you need?
-
To do this, I have a custom Item field, which uses the following formula - CASE WHEN {parent} is null THEN 'Parent' ELSE 'Child' END I then simply filter on this field.

You're probably going to get more feedback with a posting with Amazon's own Seller forum. https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/index.jspa Personally, I had an issue which was resolved only after countless emails and several days - leaving me with the overall view that I couldn't possibly continue with a company who…

We use this one, works well for us. http://www.bluebridgeone.com/SuiteExtenders-Suiteapps/eCommerce-Webstore/NetSuite-Webstore-Customer-Loyalty-Scheme

Not sure about a mobile site, but right now your regular site isn't looking too great - on OSX Safari - http://screencast.com/t/dihKPuqyEzPz

You should be able to do this by using a CSS placeholder, and then using tag substitution. Take a look at: http://netsuite.ophie.com/2010/01/flexible-css-method-ideal-for-layout.html Hope that helps. Mark.

As Oliver says, simply renaming an Item shouldn't do anything with the attached data, the InternalID is what is used to keep track of all this. As this has the potential to be a bug, and would suggest that you report it so that NS Support can investigate it. Mark.

We have a connected issue. When a Description Item is on a Sales Order, everything is fine until a Cash Sale is created. Once the Cash Sale is created, then Description Items no longer appear on the Picking Note!
-
The way that often works for me, is to go to Setup > Website > Setup Web site and then just save without making any changes. Mark.
-
If you're using the PayPal integration, the Sales Order will already be automatically created.

Take a look at this. http://www.celigo.com/netsuite/solutions/amazon-s3-cloud-storage-files.html "Celigo’s CloudStorage for NetSuite combines best-of-breed cloud services by providing organizations with a powerful, intuitive interface to Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) that integrates seamlessly into NetSuite"

Take a look at LivePerson - used it a few times and it works pretty well. http://solutions.liveperson.com/partners/netsuite/ Also, Centek Solutions have a Netsuite compatible LiveChat service worth looking at. http://www.centeksolutions.com/ecommerce-solutions.html Mark.

It will often depend on the product type you're selling. How would you want it to be displayed? Personally I too have found the £xxx - £xxx pricing to be both confusing and visually messy. Therefore I've always avoided using Matrix Items when the price varies, and have simply used it for Size/Colour etc.

The key with live chat is to prompt the customer to use it at the key times for your business. I used LivePerson for about 3 years and managed to fine tune the process to a point where it was generating reliable daily business. Some key areas I proactively used it; [1] When a credit card is declined [2] When a search finds…

To add to the collection :( On average, pages in your site take 5.5 seconds to load (updated on Jan 18, 2010). This is slower than 77% of sites.
-
This "N/A" is displaying where the price would normally be for an Inventory Item - and it's pulling this from a field which you can customise in SetUp > WebSite > Customise Text > Messages. You can just simply replace it with a space, or use more complex coding with tag substitution to only hide it within certain…

Much as I appreciate them thinking about us and delaying the roll-out until we're in a quieter period, it does still concern me that they still feel there's a very good chance of it totally breaking something in the first place!

Mid November, and still no sign :(
