Likewise. The calendar/resource owner can still add events, however nobody else can, despite having FULL permissions on the resource to create new events. It was working on Friday, and nothing has been changed in our configuration. Even using the administrator account, I cannot add an event.

Thank you for all your assistance and insight, it's most appreciated. Unfortunately support doesn't seem to be interested in helping us, and simply reply with RTFM and to ask on the forums because we don't spring for high tier support services. The last critical issue we had where we couldn't convert estimatese to sales…

Thank you for your reply. On the roles, both Calendar and Resource are marked with, and have always been marked as View. There is no Generic Resource option available on the Lists pane for permissions. On the resource itself, everyone only has View permission under Resource > Permissions.
-
These did not help unfortunately. The user has the calendar on their dashboard, with a pulldown to select from several calendars (which includes "resources" as Netsuite calls them). The user can then click on a date on the calendar and it prompts asking if you want to create a new event.
-
Role permission is set to VIEW for Lists Calendar Permissions on the calendar itself are set to VIEW. People are still able to add events to the resource calendar. Keep in mind, these are "resources", and not personal calendars.
-
I do not see a global permissions tab under the access tab on employee records. Only roles.

The issue has been resolved. It turned out that on the transaction form, one of the sublist fields had a non-english character in it, so when it went to populate the list of items, it broke. This occurred on the last Netsuite update. Netsuite's solution was to change the label containing a ' to a ` and then it started…

We've narrowed it down to our French forms that are doing it ever since the latest update a week ago. Netsuite's team is looking into it as a C2 since we can't currently service our French customers.

Ah ha! So, yeah I just noticed that Company and Customer are not the same things. I was trying to do a Company search (our customers are companies). "A NetSuite Customer or Vendor can be generalized as a Company. But it also can be an Individual. When you setup a Customer, you can specify if it is one of two types: Company…

Thank you for the reply. I'm doing a customer saved search, as I'm trying to export out detailed data records of our customers. I've already tried adding Transaction: Terms to my search, but it goes from 3000 customer records to 2.2 million records because it creates a new line for each transaction making the output…

Thank you for your answer! Sorry, I was doing jury duty so I hadn't had a chance to try it until now. Regards.

@JohnCirocco Thank you. I understand what you're saying. It's disappointing that there's no way within the available search criteria .
-
Thank you for your reply. The issue with Kits, it doesn't show the individual inventory items on the transaction, even though the kit has "DISPLAY COMPONENTS ON TRANSACTIONS" checked. If one of the items making up the kit, the kit item line shows out of stock. When everything comes in, the fulfillment screen only shows the…

Not to necro this thread unnecessarily, but the OP's question was not answered. I too am looking for a way to define a item group, and force it to use a pricing level, or a group price (preferred).
-
Thank you very much! It worked perfectly, exactly what I was looking for!

Wont you need to allocate the bins to an item record in your import? You have to remember that Bins appear on the item record so you will need to tell it which items will go in which bins, otherwise you will have a choice of 300 on each item. We're going to be doing inventory, and at time we'll be assigning products to…
-
The most annoying bin functionality I've run into so far is you have to assign bins for each item at each location at the same time. We started creating some bins for location #1, then assigning products to those bins. The problem we ran into was that if location #2 tried to fulfill from location #2's stock that was not…

Create a search that just displays the created by field and use that search to source a custom field that is not stored? Thank you for your reply. What would I use at the criteria field for the transaction search? Obviously the results field would be Created By.

Try setup below: Workflow:
Record Type > Customer Sub Type > Customer Event Definition > On Create = T, On Update = T Condition > Field = Sales Rep | Compare Type = not empty
State:
Type = Set Field Display Type Trigger On = Before Record Load Parameters > Field = Sales Rep | Display Type =…

Do you have Team Selling Feature enabled? If not, you can create a workflow that will set the display type of the field to inline under the condition that Sales Rep field has value. If Team Selling Feature is enabled, then you'll have to use script to do this. Interesting, no, I don't have the team selling feature enabled.…

The scripted page /app/accounting/print/barcodeprinter.nl only seems to print the preferred item label What about printing them from this page? /app/accounting/print/printbarcodes.nl I need a button on the item page that will print a larger label, in addition to the regular barcode page.

Still waiting for an answer myself.

Under the Sourcing & Filtering Tab... Source List: Entity Source From: leave blank Source Filter By: Parent Currently, when I source in a list in this method (specifically contacts) is there a way to source in the contact name only? Currently its listing it's parent company as well (ie: ABC Company : John Doe )

Just as an update, this worked perfectly.. again, thank you very much.
-
Thank you, I will give the published saved search a go. That sounds exactly what I may need!
-
I didn't want to give anyone access to the customer center.. there will be a number of clients accessing this anonymously.
-
I will check this functionality, as I haven't experienced that dialog previously. Edit: I'm not certain it would grab the attention of the sales person, as there is no acknowledgment necessary, and if on a lengthy sales order, the box could appear at the top of the sales order and thus off screen. If it was a floating…
-
For this particular application, I would say no. The notification I present the sales person, generally has to do with the item they added, and a reminder that other items need to be sold along with it or if excessive freight charges apply. That being said, they need immediate dialog feedback, rather than after the sales…

That worked perfectly! Thank you
