I figured out that if the page_init() function is not the first function called on the <body> tag's onload attribute customers were unable to submit the address information form. Once I put onload="page_init(); xxxx;" where xxxx is the rest of the functions called on the page load, the form worked again. DJ, can you…

All of a sudden we cannot use the "add matrix items" feature. I cleared my browser cache and tried in both FF 2.0.0.7 and Safari 2.0.4... And I continue to get the following message:
Notice Your session has timed out. Please re-enter your information and try again.
EDIT: I reproduced it in IE7.…

Ted, Check your PM. Thanks.
-
Matt, You should still be able to see the Cart Contents on the customer record. Go to the "Web Activity" tab, there is a 'cart contents' sub-tab there.
-
It appears to have been resolved over the weekend, that or turning the multi-language feature on and back off again fixed it ;)
-
Pete, The only change I made was I enabled the multi-language feature from setup > company > enable features. Then I was able to save related items. I turned the feature back off to see if it was the cause, and I am still able to save my related items... so I'm not sure if this helped or not, but It's worth a try if you…

Evan, thanks for the response. I've opened case #624079 regarding this issue. EDIT: Just wanted to add that the error also occurs when I am creating a new item record and it contains a related item.
-
Ted, are you sure this external routing issue has been corrected? Look at this traceroute I just ran (4:53pm EST) and tell me what you think. I've xxx'ed out our IP address for security, but look at the timeouts towards your end. We get similar traceroute results when we do it for system.netsuite.com. Traceroute has…

We had to withold our marketing campaign from going out because it would be a total failure with the slow site performance we're seeing today. I expect cart abandonment rate to be very high until this speed issue is resolved.
-
Well thanks for the update. It appears to be working again, just very slowly. Our NS-hosted web store and NS backend are suffering from slow loading, but again at least they aren't timing out any more... hopefully this gets worked out today.

Ted, Will the proposed fix address picking tickets as well as checks and other forms?
-
Ted, Sorry - we already removed the shortcuts from the user's dashboards!
-
Has the fix gone out for this issue (131212)? We're still experiencing logouts/timeouts while printing pick tickets this morning.
-
Ted, We experienced the problem this morning while printing pick tickets in IE6, and again at noon in IE7. I think i may have isolated the cause... The users who experienced the time-out issue were using dashboard shortcuts to the 'print pick tickets' page. These shortcuts were created in version 10.6 or maybe earlier.…

This is bull****, i can't even create a matrix item. Just wasted 10 minutes of my life inputting all this info and getting it set up for the web and i time out every time i submit the item input form.
-
This prevents us from printing pick tickets in mass, we have to actually go to each sales order individually and hit 'print pick ticket'. Also, our shipping process has been interrupted today. When attempting to bill a customer we are having time outs and we're totally paranoid that we're going to double-bill a customer…

Ok, I have investigated it further and there's actually 17 of 70 of the colors for this item that do not add to cart. They are as follows: 1611, 1687, 1718, 1723, 1736, 1740, 1800, 1801, 1802, 1803, 1810, 1812, 1860, 1885, 1945, 1949, 1974 What the heck is going on?!
-
I inactivated the sub-items that weren't working and re-created new ones to replace them, and they seem to work fine. This is certainly not the best practice, however. I would still like to know what the hell happened to the original items and how to make sure it never happens again. We don't need to have redundant…
-
I have a similar problem, only the difference is that my matrix items (2 of a list of 70 color options) seem to get added to the cart but are not actually added. The screen reloads, however there is no error message and the items are not added. I've double checked the transaction item option, the item field and the custom…

This thread reminds me why we don't pay for gold support. IMO $8k a year is too much money to report bugs. 50% of our issues are from shortcomings in features that serve more to be another bullet on the NS sales' sheet rather than have any practical use, while the other 50% of our issues are from bugs. This forum is…

Our site is down too as of 9:09am est. Pretty much the same as everyone else, losing sales every time the phone rings and every time someone sees our site is down... wth is going on ns?
-
Did Netsuite support ever address this issue? I have not yet seen it happen on an order here as we do not use qty pricing extensively. If this is still an issue in NS we will have to re-evaluate using qty pricing. Backorders are fairly common for us and we don't need the extra headache of refunding customers we…

Ok everybody another glaring ISSUE with netsuite: We have item BYAG-20J (matrix sub-item also in an assembly build) with an illogical number for quantity on hand. We have to-date received 565 pieces and sold 519 pieces (on cash sales & invoices). There are 17 pieces on hand as of today, yet our on hand inventory shows 125…
-
Brian, I reported the seperate issue with kits/assemblies pre-version 11 and it was fixed for an undetermined period of time. We noticed it happening again about 6 weeks ago. If you're having the same problem then I urge you to submit a case to NS referencing issue #103735. Thanks, Mike
-
Thanks for the reply Bill. I'm glad to see this isn't an isolated issue, if only because we don't pay for support. Considering 95% of our support cases are problems created by system bugs, we don't believe we should pay gobs of money to report them. Ok, Netsuite. Since other users are having the same problem as us, can we…
-
Bill, I'm glad to hear your problems have been resolved. Ours have only gotten worse! The newest twist to this whole MESS: While waiting for netsuite to get off their a** and fix this issue, we have lost patience and are ready to redo our inventory manually (all 14,000 active inventory items) using an inventory worksheet.…
-
Thomas, You're 100% correct. I have not reviewed our contract with NetSuite but I guarantee there is a QoS clause in there and this has got to be in violation. When the service does not work as advertised it has absolutely got to be fixed regardless of what extras we are paying for. The fact that you've had a case open for…
-
We've observed a new problem related to this thread. We have several items exhibiting this behavior: Item X shows 83 on hand, 33 committed, 50 available... yet the system has back ordered 5! What kind of system logic is this? It's been seen in multiple items. We actually received a sales call from Net Suite after posting…
-
Are you guys using these items in kits/assemblies? We have found that some of (not all) the items that we are having trouble with are parts in kits. The problem with kit/assembly items occurs when you edit a partially fulfilled order with a kit (for instance changing the shipping method or adding an item to ship with the…
-
N/S claims that the fulfilment fiasco will only happen when: Accounting Setup - Ordering/Shipping - Fulfill Based on Commitment = "Allow Uncommitted" AND Fulfillment of Kit item is for greater quantity than have on hand. This is bogus. We're not set up this way and we provided simple, clear steps to follow to see the…
