Dear Malin, Anything you need from me to get this issue resolved just ask. I am more then happy to work with you & Netsuite for a quick resolution. Sincerely, Thomas J. Kingston, ME Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Off-Road www.spidertrax.com

Dear Malin, You seem to be quick in responses for this board and we appreciate that. So, I aim this question at you and I hope you can shed more light on this subject ASAP. I just looked at the maintenance fixes that will be happening this Friday and the only mention for PayPal is "notifying users who are not using their…

BTW Thomas - I like the design of your web site. Very clean, easy to use and un-cluttered. Good job - wished a lot more sites were like that. Thanks Ray! :) Thomas J. Kingston, ME Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Off-Road

We are in the same boat...the only correlation we have found is when the name on the PayPal account doesn't match the name used on the Netsuite order. The funds are right there in PayPal (as instant) but the order in Netsuite is "Pending PayPal Authorization". This may just be coincidence thought. Looking forward to any…

Interesting...I've been running the GM of Lion for some time with no issues to report. I have also been on Safari 5.1 since beta with no issues. You don't expect it to be an issue related to an extension? Sincerely, Thomas J. Kingston, ME Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Off-Road e-Mail: thomas@spidertrax.com Phone: (303)…

Wow. I am surprised it is supposed to work via Credit Memo and not Cash Refund. The problem with Credit Memo is that a Credit Memos can be related to many different Invoices and/or partial refund amounts. (Just like how Accept Customer Payments can be related to many different invoices and/or partial payments). So the CM…

I hope I am missing something here, but I cannot get the PayPal Refund feature to work in the way we need it. If I go straight to the Cash Sale, and hit refund, everything works as expected. However, we do not refund in this fashion. Since we are primarily a mail order company, we will always create a return authorization.…

Update: Spoke with NetSuite today, was told that PayPal refunds cannot be processed through Return Authorizations at this time. Bummer for us, but the call was very much appreciated. Apparently enhancements for such request are in the works. Not sure what they are, but I will look for them. Thanks for your replies Nick-…

Hi Thomas, thanks for that tip on the Process PayPal Payment checkbox- but ours does show up on the Cash Sale too. We do not want to refund that way either. We also use Return Authorizations, and we definitely cannot process our PayPal refunds through NetSuite. Today, we tested this with a transaction that was billed after…
-
Same with us- we cannot refund either through PayPal via Netsuite either. Also, our PayPal Status Override checkbox is missing - do you normally have that feature, and is yours missing also? Not sure about the "PayPal Status Override" check box, but a check box we have made note of is when this does function correctly, by…

Ok, now this is getting frustrating. I was glad to hear that Netsuite will at least default the rates to the residential rates, but now we have a new problem. We offer UPS shipping (Ground to Next Day) plus we also offer a pick-up option at zero cost. Guess what price the estimator shows :o. If you guessed Pick-Up, your…
-
In our maintenance release in the fall, the cart shipping estimator and the calculation at checkout will be more consistent. Both will follow the "Residential Address for Shipping" company preference in Setup>Shipping (currently respected by checkout but not in the cart estimator.) Ideally, the shopper could select the…
-
We get shoppers that ask us about the discrepancy between the shipping estimator price and the actual shipping cost when they go through checkout. I tell them... My question is, "can we make NS include the handling fee in the estimator"? -Tom Too many problems with the actual shipping cost being higher then the "estimator"…

The box 3 (total payments to all employees) is wrong on the 940's for 07. It is including those that are 1099's - it should not. watch out. I almost filed a bad 940. NS - see case 664526 Thanks for the heads up Ray! Sincerely, Thomas J. Kingston, ME Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Off-Road www.spidertrax.com

Just adding my outage to the list. Not trying to worry everyone, but in the 12 years we've been on Netsuite I can't say I've ever seen this type of issue. Seems like a big one... hoping I'm wrong.
-
Just posting that we are also in the same boat.
-
Same here, loading but crawling would be an overstatement.

Just adding our name to the list of the fallen.

So as to keep tabs on this issue, as of this morning one of our assembly items is experiencing the incredibly high reorder point and preferred stock level issue, where as all others have been fixed. Best I can tell, it is only this one assembly item, but time will tell if others are effected. I've re-openend the case with…

Appreciate the update, and reference to a defect number. I'm going to email and make sure we are classed on the same defect number. I'm very surprised no others are chiming in here, I would have imagined this to be a monster issue for users. Thom Kingston Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Inc. 174 12th Street SE Loveland CO…

Confirming as well, this issue is not fixed for us either. We forced a recalculate last night, in anticipation of the closed case, but we are still stuck with bad reorder and calculate values on a large number (not all though) of inventory and assembly items. Netsuute, please advise.

Hello Paul, We have filed the following defect on your behalf. Defect # 261378 SUMMARY: Item Record > Reorder Point and Preferred Stock Levels changed its values > System Notes > Set By = -System- Alternate Solution: None Your defect has been prioritized as an S2 issue. Just realized this has been classified as an S2…

Just letting you know we are in the same boat. We forced a recalculate last Thursday night, and saw this issue first thing Friday morning. Although I hate to see anyone dealing with such a catastrophic software failure (biggest one we've dealt with to date in Netsuite), I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I've submitted…

Quick update for those checking in, as per Netsuite support this issue has been recently upgraded to S1, with a target fix by September 5th. It's going to be a rough 2 weeks, but happy to see Netsuite working on it. Thom Kingston Co-Founder & Owner Spidertrax Inc. 174 12th Street SE Loveland CO 80537 USA T 1.303.772.0033…

Netsuite is back for us, but our Store (spidertrax.com) is still down. Sincerely, T. Kingston Spidertrax Off-Road www.spidertrax.com Spoke too soon, we're down again. Getting a cup of coffee now. T. Kingston

This is one weird outage. We have one user here that is unaffected. We all use the same ISP and the same DNS settings ...but somehow she is the only one that is still able to use NetSuite. I time-out trying to log in and I tried several browsers, so it isn't a browser issue. Other web pages load fine, so it isn't an…

Both our site and system are down. TERRIBLE! We've got a store full of people. How the hell are we supposed to do business? Pen and paper or as we like to say "Netsuite Survival Tools". We're down across the board as well. T. Kingston www.spidertrax.com
