Thanks both, yes, that answers my question. The option which you say was about the only one which I hadn't tested. The answer is to enter the Net Amount with the Tax code on the first line of the journal - as a debit - and Netsuite calcs the Vat amount. Then enter the second row, to the Balance sheet a/c, eg Bad Debt…

Using International Tax Reports - i.e. not SuiteTax.

I think I've got it. It will depend on 'Date of last sale' and the actual date on the most recent Transaction Invoice being one and the same. The Grouping by columns then gives the results some relevant impact.
-
Thanks for that Gaurav, I’ve switched to searching on the Transactions table, and those Criteria do pull back invoices of up to 120 days ago, but not within the current month. However, that will include customers who have invoices in every week, say, of the last 4 months, but the search simply won’t display the invoices in…

Hello Gaurav, That didn't work. The SuiteAnswers 36949 is based on the Customer table, and so its Criteria fields are "transaction.date" whereas your Criteria above are just "Date" - are you using the Transactions table? And your comment of: "By default system has 90 days functionality" - I don't know what/where this is…

Jack - you've solved it, thankyou! That was good thinking, of possibilities behind-the-scenes. Thus, our Setup - Sales - Sales Preferences - Prospect Status - Opportunity field was set to 'Proposal'. I've now gone back into my Workflow Condition and added 'Proposal' into the existing list of selections. I then re-logged in…

Thanks Brian, I understand your logic, and I'll use that knowledge in futre, as I get more into Netsuite's Workflows. The tutorial itself starts off by setting to Trigger Type to All, then a page later, instructs people to change it to Before Record Load.
-
Thanks, I'll do some testing, and in the meantime, I'll tick 'Yes' for 'solved'. On the basis of this being the workround, and there not being a field on the Nexus page, whereas notes on the SuiteTax module suggest that the extra tax registation number field is available in the nexus, then I'll do some testing down this…

Oops, apologies for that, I must have been thinking of the a Condition on a State in answering your question, rather than a Condition on the Workflow. The condition on my/the Workflow is taken directly from the Tutorial's notes, and as it says, the default value of an Opportunity when you immediately go into it is…

I'm following the notes as per 'Creating your first Workflow' as per: 1) the Suiteflow User Guide pdf dated March 15, 2023. 2) The Help Center notes under 'Creating your first Workflow' 3) SuiteAnswers 11554 -which are all the same. The goal is to practice with workflows! I've also tried other Actions, like Set Field…

The Workflow is set to execute On Create, as per second screenshot above. Although I have also ticked 'On view or update' and then tried to Edit my just-recently created Opportunity, to see if the field then became mandatory, but no such luck. There aren't any conditions on the workflow.

Here they are Jack, And I'm fairly sure that they match what is in the Tutorial, as I've tried many times. Or have I missed something?
-
Thanks for the response Joahnna, It's in - Setup - Company - Subsidiaries - choose a subsidiary - and there is field there called 'Vat registration number'. We're using OneWorld, a UK edition, and the International Tax Reports engine. When I click on the field, its Field ID is federalidnumber which is a standard field.…

Thanks Jack, that did clarify; and it was exactly that dropdown box of 'Location' which made me a little concerned.
-
Thankyou for that Guru Michelle, that answers my question. I have tested it, and it works.

Hello Michelle, I’m in the same company as Andy. We’ve done a bit more experimenting. I have two (sales) Quote records, which I wish to send to our customer. On each Quote, I follow the instructions in ‘Printing an Estimate’ and that will create 2 pdf on my local computer. (If I used ‘To print multiple estimates’, that…
