After a lot of work, here is what we came up with to get us as close as possible to the results we wanted to see. This is still not 100% perfect splitting between new and existing customers, but it is close enough. Also, we don't want to see shipping and tax, so they have been excluded. Criteria: Filter Description Formula…

As far as we're concerned, a new customer is a first-time purchaser. We don't recycle them to new after a certain period of time. When they make a second purchase, they become a returning customer regardless of how long it has been since their last purchase. We're not sure there is an exact way we can do what we are…

This is a scheduled workflow running on items based on a saved search. The workflow is scheduled to run every 30 minutes. When the saved search has items that need to be updated, the workflow will run and set the checkbox to true on the item. It is running under the system account. If we were to manually set the checkbox…
-
The saved search to use when the quantity dropped below 5 was easier than expected. We just had to get rid of the Location Available criteria on the search. Final search criteria below in case anyone else ever needs to do something like this. Saved search to set custom field to True when quantity in selected bins is 5 or…
-
It looks like we might have finally got this correct for the search to set the custom value to true using a workflow when the sum of the quantity available in selected bins is greater than or equal to five. Here is what we did: Standard Criteria Sub-item Of: item parents needed Custom Field: False Inventory Location:…

This particular KPI is setup with 2 custom KPIs from saved searches we created. The dates on the KPI are setup as follows: Trying to figure out why neither of the KPIs allow us to select the Less is More checkbox. No matter what combination we attempt, less is more is always unable to be selected.
-
The field needs to be editable or it serves no purpose. We'll have to test and see if it tries to print on a check or not. As for the viewing, you are correct. This is a canned report. We will have to see if we can duplicate it with a saved search.
-
Per the screenshot from our last post (1st screenshot), the field (Check Internal Note) is marked to show on the custom check form, and it is set as Display Type Inline Text, not hidden. We did notice that if we change the custom field and the custom field on the custom form to Normal view instead of Inline Text, it does…
-
Followed these steps, but it doesn't quite get us there. New custom field (Check Internal Memo) was created and added to a new custom check transaction form. The new form is set as the preferred form. New field does not show up on the register for accounts, though. Still shows the existing columns. The field also does not…
-
We have not created the field because we didn't know if it could even be done or not. This new field would act like a memo field, but it would not print on the check. We would continue to use the standard memo field to print on the memo line of the check. This field is just to be used to get a quick glance at information…

Well this is extremely disappointing. How can such a vital piece of reporting data not be available for display after 12 years of requesting it?
-
Anybody have any thoughts on how to make kit item members show on this saved search? We are at an impasse and cannot figure out what needs changed so they show up as well as inventory and assembly item members.
-
Unfortunately, we have already seen that SuiteAnswer. It does not provide any further breakdown than the search I have created. It will still only show the quantity that can be built based upon Level 1 items in stock. If there is enough quantity on hand of level 2, 3, etc. stock on hand to build additional level 1 items,…

The Bill of Materials inquiry shows exactly what we need. We would like to show this in a saved search format that will total the quantity of the final assembly that can be built based upon on hand quantity of all components (including sub-assembly components). It is much easier to be able to see all of our assembly builds…

I tried, but the ability to mark a post as the answer does not appear anymore. Only see Quote, Insightful, Agree, Like, Awesome, and LOL.

Sometimes it's the stupidest things. I did not see State/Province in the field column because I was adding Ship To in the record column. Once I stopped doing that, I was able to setup the expressions as needed and go it to work. Thank you.
-
Still struggling with the context on the condition. If using the visual builder for the condition on the workflow action (to my knowledge the only way to use expressions), the shippingaddress.state field cannot be found. Is it buried underneath of another heading? State is not a field available under the Ship To record.…
-
That's the problem. We're not quite sure what formula to use. Are we able to just use {shippingaddress.state}='CO' AND {ourcustomfield}='F' We're not sure how to get the two fields we need into the formula to make them work.
-
We have the workflow setup and it works properly. What we don't quite understand is how to setup the condition on the workflow so it only runs on sales orders that are shipping to the state of Colorado AND were not placed on our website. We are not quite sure what the formula would be to get both of those items setup as…
-
We have migrated all of our websites over to Shopify from Magento, so the CO RDF is now coming across to sales orders in NetSuite when they were placed online. Now we have an issue with orders being manually placed in NetSuite. Although we could tell the users to add this line item to all orders being shipped to CO, we…

Just had to modify the condition on the workflow action a little bit. It looks like this is finally working and setting the Ship Date on the sales order via the workflow action. Created 14 different workflow actions (2 per day of the week). Each action had a condition similar to the one below applied:…
-
How do we add multiple conditions on the workflow actions? It looks like adding conditions is the answer to only run the workflow action we need to set the Ship Date. We will still have separate actions for each day, but we will also be adding a second one for each day due to the cutoff time set in NetSuite. For example,…
-
After testing, it was determined that you cannot use the same set field setting action multiple times. It will go through each of them one at a time and set accordingly. For example, if the last action was set for Thursday, and the transaction day was actually Wednesday, even though it ran through the action with Wednesday…

SuiteAnswer 34465 was not my answer. That, unfortunately, was only for setting conditions on a workflow. I need to actually set the Ship Date value via workflow. Need to find some way to break down this long CASE statement into multiple parts to set the Ship Date field. I wonder if I could use the same logic, though, and…
-
SuiteAnswer ID 34465 looks like it might have some promising leads...
-
Was able to write a really long CASE statement that would show the correct information on a saved search...if it wasn't for that pesky 800-character limit. Still haven't worked out how to translate this into a workflow (set the Ship Date field), but progress has been made. CASE statement copied into PDF document and…

This was the solution. We actually used an other charge instead of a non inventory item, but it worked. Took a little bit of tinkering on the connector, but the charge is showing as a line item on orders shipping to CO now.
-
The above-mentioned alternate solution is not really viable. This would require us to constantly monitor all orders and manually add a line item to them for this retail delivery charge. Avalara is calculating the tax on both our Shopify and Magento web stores. NetSuite does not know what to do with the charge when it syncs…
-
Unfortunately, we only have basic support with NetSuite. Every time we attempt to contact them for issues similar to this, they tell us it is not covered by our support contract. That is why we reach out to this forum to find the answers we need.

@Fabss The example in the screen shot is from an item that is setup for time phased reordering. It has a value in the safety stock level column manually entered. Reorder point is blank in that example because it is setup as time phased, not reorder point. However, it does appear on most of our items that are setup as…
