Is there something wrong with using a search? You can get all the message details with that.
-
What is the purpose of "Most Recent Message" if not to show the most recent message when set to Yes/True? Similarly, if set to False, one would expect the results to show all but the most recent message, but I suspect that won't happen either.

Hi Guys & Girls! I have a couple of reports but some of the columns are small and we have to manually expand the coumns to be able to read it clearly but when we go back to the report at a later stage, it reverts back and then we have to manually expand it everytime we want to look at it. Is there a way, we can expand the…
-
Weird. Guess I don't quite get what you're trying to accomplish.
-
That doesn't sound like managing searches. That sounds like straight up different searches altogether. This does make me think being able to do inline editing on searches from the list of searches would be interesting.
-
My guess is that he has a couple of searches that need to be edited and he likes to edit those searches in one sweep instead of having to go into each search and edit them manually. i.e. If you want to replace the criteria "Sales Person = Myself" with "Sales Person = My Team" on 30 different searches, it can be pretty…

You have a few options. It's most straight-forward with searches, in my opinion. Mass Update - assumes the field you need changed is available in mass update. Uses a search interface. Inline Edit - few fields are inline editable but there's a way to do a mass change but I don't feel like explaining fully how to do it. Not…

Sounds like you're asking about a saved search, not a report. Right? Create a new search and make it a System Note search. In criteria, you're limited to about 10 system note fields but one of them is "User..." Select Group in the list that appears, then select the Group when the group list appears. Does that work?
-
Should be. Customize the report and make sure "Group" is checked for the Customer column.
-
I'd be interested in something like that, but it sounds like there could be better role/permissions management and then make use of the audience tab to set who has access. Taking advantage of a role-specifying link seems like a bandaid.
-
Is there any way to recover saved reports that disappeared after I deleted a User? Do you literally mean "reports?" Lots of people interchange "search" and "report," in my experience. I know searches remain if they were created by a user who is then made inactive. Not sure about deleting a user since I haven't done that in…

I'm guessing this still doesn't exist. Going through the same thing now. System Notes doesn't cut it because it doesn't capture well a stage in a time period, just the events (changing statuses). Based on Customer Aging Report, I'd say it seems like the system already knows the info we need, but maybe it knows less than it…

Hello, Technically, you can do this with a User Event Script using nlapiSendEmail when the criteria are met. Regards, I think you're referring to using the cell phone number @ the phone carrier, right? For example, 7135224810@sprint.com. Does that work for all wireless providers?
-
I'm interested to know this, too. There are times we want to put a stop on otherwise automated emailings.

Login sharing bad... especially for accounts that can do anything other than view records. That said, the security question design is clunky and frustrating. Further, the real problem is I KNOW it somehow sometimes doesn't accept the exact answer to one of my questions. I stopped using the "maternal grandmother's maiden…

Any idea what the error is? I'm fishing for a solution to a problem that seems to be solely occurring in eCommerce orders. I've wondered if it's subsidiary-related. Our nlapiLookupFields are failing. See here - https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=33064
-
I'm seeing the same thing in my library script where we had put only a single field in an array. We did this so we can add more fields to the lookup in the future with little code change. Throws an unexpected error (type error) when we try to operate on the returned value "cannot read property…

They're having multiple issues with the search results view. Seems to be affecting Text Area and Long Text fields, but maybe any type that holds more than would normally be displayed in the results. I hadn't seen your issue, jwenzer, but what I'm seeing since last night is: 1. many support case messages that should have…

Just found out I'm going, and I'm bringing our new hire. Skipping the pre-conference training this year, just there Monday morning through Thursday afternoon.
-
OK I'm not sure when everyone is getting there but I'm getting there Monday afternoon and staying at the Marquis. I know there is a bar and grill attached to the hotel (4th Street Bar & Grill) so if any one wants to meet for a drink and talk about netsuite then how about meeting there Monday night at 7:30. I'm unfamiliar…

The above entry was made 2/25/12 in this thread. We are slated to get upgraded tomorrow, 3/17/12, and have been unable to test our Beta due to this exact same issue since 3/2/12. By my calculation, this was reported (and acknowledged by NetSuite) more than 3 weeks ago and the problem still exists for us. I am coming to the…

Interesting. I never saw them not moving, but I haven't been upgraded yet and I didn't even know the type of window being popped was different than they have. Thanks!
-
I have no idea what you're talking about, but I appreciate your excitement. ;)
-
Date/Time fields! You have no idea how happy that makes me. :D That's the only thing we care about in this release besides fixes. It would be much more exciting if the new "seconds" addition was appended to existing time fields; I don't care that it would mean a time like 12:36 would become 12:36:00 for every historical…

Is there documentation for this field and its associated use like for scripts and UI? I'm hoping we're all just misunderstanding something.

We never do a major release to customers on the last friday of the month. In this release the primary release dates are 10/8, 10/22 and 11/5. Thanks, -e Sorry, I shouldn't have said "updates," which implied "releases." Instead, I meant "changes."
-
My .02 - who else thinks it screwy when major (or even minor) updates are done at month end or month beginning? It seems most of the updates to our system happen on the last Friday of month or quarter end, right when there's a huge influx of orders that must be processed. At a previous company, we had very little…

I haven't really found any other threads discussing the new user interface in 2010.2 so I'll add some feedback here. [LIST=1] [*]Having watched the recorded webinar now, I have to say I think field groups will be the single biggest benefit of this upgrade. At the moment breaking fields into columns is really the only way…
