We have this same issue but for warranty work so 1 billed customer (the warranty company) and many ship to customers. We need to retain the Ship to Address for Sales Tax implications. But when you change customer it wipes out the Ship To Address even if already Fulfilled. Any way to handle this other than copy and paste…
-
That is what I figured but wanted to research it before paying someone to write a script for me. Thanks for the confirmation.
-
Thanks Evan! Led me to the right place at least. Still have to scroll to find invoice. Any idea if they are going to add a place to search here?
-
Here is how we handle this. In Accounting Preferences do NOT check "bill in Advance of Receipt" and do NOT check "Use Purchase Order Rate on Bills." The AP person who clicks Bill on PO should be able to identify any discrepancies and, depending on amount and timing, either write off to COGS or correct Receiver amount or…

I believe you can edit the voice check journal and change the journal to th current month and that will correct last months bank rec
-
GGregg, Assuming you mean last purchase price I don't see it in system notes either. SteveTaylor, where do you see it?
-
We have a script that does this but I did not write it. We have been through 3 partners so now I am not sure who wrote this for us. Forward Hindsight agadnis@forwardhindsight.com , Robert Cratch rlcratch@att.net at SAAS Solutions, or Epiphany, Inc. support@epiphanyinc.net
-
I am using it to post company wide messages and it seems to be working. No other activity though
-
Our partner Epiphany helped us write this formula in a sales order report since this is the only transaction that links actual income to actual cost. Formula (Percent) Maximum Round to Hundredths (sum(DECODE({applyinglinktype},'Order…

Here is what we're seeing happen: 1. We have a saved search to send email alerts when a line item is closed. So, the criteria has Line System Notes: Field = Closed. 2. We have specific recipients only. They are marked Send on Update because they do not get an email at all if this box is not checked. 3. After ONE line on…

We have found it is better to correct the individual receivers if they are in an open month. The PO actually does not post the GL so it doesn't matter; it is the difference between receiver and bill that matters. But if in a closed month, unless you want to open the month, then the only way to correct is as you said which…

We are contemplating switching from Worldship to Integration. I understand that shipping cost on customer invoices and tracking numbers will automatically fill in NS. Is this true? Is there any AP advantages like auto-creating a PO to pay UPS? Any other opinions from people who have tried both ways?
-
Not automated but we just have made a policy that at the end of the day one person is assigned to invoice. Transactions>Sales>Bill Sales Orders. Mark all and Submit. This creates an invoice for each fulfilled sales order. Then the next morning you can go to Transactions>Management>Print Checks and Forms. Choose Invoices.…

If you do have access to the login then you can Update Security Questions on the dashboard. If you do NOT have access to the login because you can't remember the answers to the security questions you have to get your administrator to reset the password and then you will have a chance to reset the security questions when…

as long as you mark the address as the primary billing address and save the customer then the next contact you create from the customer record should autopopulate the address
-
In my NetSuite it is called Acct. No. on the Transaction form on the Printing Fields tab on the Header subtab
-
Apparently it is just the serial numbers for that one item BUT it is ALL instead of just ON HAND. I don't see a way around it
-
Wow, that answer is horrible. I was just searching for a way to keep the actual ship to addresses when I invoice a Sales Order to a different customer in a warranty situation and thought this might be an answer but looks like I should not even consider line level shipping at all if this is how little NetSuite cares about…
-
I used a saved search to send emails to a subset of customers to notify them of our change of mailing address. All the AOL ones comes back "Remote Server returned '< #4.7.1 X-Postfix; delivery temporarily suspended: host mailin-04.mx.aol.com[64.12.88.132] refused to talk to me: 421 4.7.1 : (DYN:T1)" netsuite.com seems to…
-
Is it every description item? I would submit an online case to NetSuite, sounds like a defect to me.
-
"Are you hoping to amend the customer on old transactions? I don't think you can on some and the ones that you can breaks any links to other transactions (ie change the customer on an invoice and it removes the 'Created from Sales Order' info) and may even mess up inventory." It will also put the SO back in a ready to be…

I have had this problem in the past and uninstalling Bing Toolbar fixed it
-
We are able to do this by going to Transactions>Purchases/Vendors>Enter Vendor Credits and it works fine. We have had a similar problem in Sales Orders because we have scripts running. Do you have scripts running on vendor side? Also if it is what mblank suggested we were told to change our internet options setting for…
-
Anyone know a quick way to fix all your blank ones to be zero instead?
-
Thank you. One of my users had this issue too and NetSuite Help wasn't helpful in this case
-
FYI "&" does not work in Name on Card field because forced as first. it split ours like this Name on Card S & S AUTOMOTIVE billTo_firstName: S billTo_lastName: & S AUTOMOTIVE and cannot start with & Raw Response decision: REJECT invalidField_: billTo_lastName invalidField_0: billTo_lastName reasonCode: 102 requestID:…

Steve! This is exactly what we would like. We would like to be able to view all cases for subcustomers and customers at the main customer level. But it doesn't work. Is there a settign that allows this?
-
Yes, you can change the Ship To label. Problem for us is flipping the customer at time of invoice also flips the Ship To address so sales tax is wrong.
-
I really hate this answer but wanted to toss it out there. You can run a Sales Back Order report, then export it into Excel and use a CountA Formula.
-
We created an Other Charge For Sale which only hits an "income account" but can really be any account you want. Then created a credit Transactions>Customer>Issue Credit Memo. It will show on their customer account Sales>Transactions where we created a Custom View with "Amount Remaining" column.
