I agree IE9 seems significantly faster for NS than IE8. In my test account I am seeing significantly lower client times for viewing records. Typical second customer record is .7 seconds or so total (the first customer you view caches resources so the second customer and beyond is significantly faster). Thanks, -e Wow,…

blitzsport, what e-commerce feature are you excited about? The "Keep your domain name during checkout" is an add-on. So, you'll pay extra for that feature. I know, if we have to pay a little for it i dont mind too much. I believe we shouldnt have to as its something that comes free with all ecommerce solutions but if…

Not to boast but im glad we are in the UK, as we get upgraded last hopefully the majority of update problems will be sorted by the time we go live.
-
Ok, so we would break it down into the following areas: Bug / Defects repairs eCommerce Enhancements Other Enhancements (Feel free to break this down further) We should all vote for which one NetSuite should concentrate on, i think it would give them a better understanding of what areas their customers actually want in…
-
Thats just asking for it :P
-
Agreed, we have a few scripts that we would only want to check work with the new release, we probably wouldnt be in the group of users who test it for hours. However, i dont really want to write out a whole plan for something im going to test for 10 mins.
-
It made me laugh that if you apply to do the "Beta" but don’t use it adequately or follow the "Plan" they will ban you from the 2010.2 “Beta”. What a joke, it’s like being told off by your teacher at school. Quote: Note: If you do not register for the 2010 Release 1 Release Preview program or if you register for it but do…
-
Its in beta, so it wont be available to everyone on the upgrade. Oh joy :)

Hey Yali, most of the work on our site was done with Javascript. We kept the core parts there for people who dont have Javascript enabled but its the only way to get the customization decent enough. The code its self was done in custom item templates in NetSuite. Chris

Hi Alison, thats interesting, are you using PayPal Express Checkout or just the normal PayPal? The reason i ask is that we use the standard PayPal feature and we have never had that problem. Could help your defect out a bit?
-
Yup, we have been asking for it since day one. We cant offer half the promotions we would want to, plus like you said, our stock is inaccurate because we have to do such things manually which doesnt always work out.
-
Thats a pretty good request actually, we are getting beyond 300 saved searches now lol is a pain trying to find the correct one sometimes and i dont want to delete any just incase i have assigned them to custom centres.
-
Yeah we have been waiting for that as well, pain in the ass having to keep amending credit memos each time we want to apply it to a sales order :-(
-
Hi Bill, i believe 98635 that you are looking for is in 2009.2. You can now set exclusion and inclusions on shipping items based on country. I spent all morning setting ours up so any international customers now only see shipping methods that are relevant to them. This also works for sales orders raised through the UI.
-
I agree on promo codes, although the couple of extra features they put in 2009.2 are a step in the right direction. We also like the improvements on shipping items where you can base them on country, but we also wanted this based on post/zip code. In the UK we have Mainland, Scotland and Northern Ireland and each one has…

Im really starting to think NetSuite are going to bin their own eCommerce side and integrate with an existing eCommerce package. There is no way that they could catch up with the market now, the lack of functionality in NetSuite's eCommerce would mean a total overhaul starting from scratch which i dont think they will do.…
-
Question, who here uses a seperate eCommerce solution which is integrated into NetSuite. If you do, what eCommerce package do you use?
-
Shouldnt that be 2015.2...
-
Case number is 945017, thanks.
-
I cant even find the default shipping carrier option. My sales reps are all having to change the option from UPS to More every time they enter a new customer. What a pain that we didnt ask for. Surely we should be able to set the default on this.
-
Yeah, this was fixed yesterday morning, so we potentially lost out on 3 days of sales (Around 300 orders)
-
Doh, so your in the UK, you have the option to change your default carrier and i guess you dont have the nasty issue where you cant authorise cards on your web store like we have? :)
-
Nice, thanks for the good news, was panicking there for a bit :)
-
Just found out that we cant take credit/debit card payments on our webstore since we upgraded, thank NetSuite. How long will this one take to fix?
-
Unless your a UK customer where a new "defect" has been raised because that option isnt available to us :) oh happy days
-
Thanks Steve, im testing on beta and just found this as well. Why do they insist on screwing things up on each update, it was fine the way it was. Its going to cause confusion and increase input time for our sales staff. I have raised a case for this : #936917. Can someone from support comment on this please, i would like…

Also, the sitemap tool doesnt include static html pages that reside on the site. We have created around 10-15 static pages with different information on them that are not being included in the feed, mainly our homepage!
-
Lol the other one is me
-
The sitemap html is good but did you have to include the header :( We have taken advantage of the html page and used an include tag to bring the page into another page that has a footer as well. Could you not remove the header from this, that way we could put information before the sitemap such as a page introduction, and…

We wanted this also, we have around 10-15 static html pages that currently arent included in our sitemap :(
