When you search TIME records you can run formulas in the column to pull back Date/Time and display in results. Pull the Last Modified

Why dont you import Credit Card charges as a transaction type?
-
First I've heard of this issue. I add multiple addresses to Customers via CSV every week. The external ID gets set as the label name in my procedure and I never have an issue
-
General Preferences...
-
At the minimum make sure your mapping has this...
-
FYI- Be prepared to provide the Internal ID of the invoice in question (or External ID). Your transaction numbers wont matter here.
-
You will need to use the Two File method of importing. The second file allows you to identify the Invoice the payment applies to and how much applies (including discounts taken)
-
Hey Steven, I would check a couple of things. Company Preferences perhaps set to default Customers as Individuals. Also your Import file may need to call out the Customer:Individual (Req) as FALSE in the mapping. Hard code it in the mapping if you have to.
-
As far as I have ever known once a transaction causes a relationship it cannot be broken
-
I also referred your scenario to an in house expert to verify...he has seen it all over the years
-
I work for Thomson Reuters. We have a product called ONESOURCE Determination....everything I didnt like about using Avalara is fixed in our product...customers with advanced requirements love us...and we have the big guns (think big multinational companies). We can handle everything. Avalara is an option...i generally…
-
While I cant provide Tax advice I would read it as your future obligations are triggered since you met the threshold via transactions in the prior year
-
I do not recall there being any data migration...Your existing company in the single instance becomes the Parent Sub in OneWorld...you move on from there
-
There is a chance they could be right...I'll see what Adam comes back with...he deals with multi billion dollar corps daily...
-
SuiteTax has a ways to go...its a change to the environment rather than a bundle install...I can point you to a couple of people dealing with this locally.
-
is this just a random rant or a question? Sales Tax rules in the US vary. Your supplier is probably concerned (as they should be) about potential audits. Do you know the rules in this state? The fulfillment location might matter...
-
Looks like its not about the effective date but rather retroactive calendar year etc
-
I'm pretty sure you could do this via Journal Entry...just debit the payable and credit the GL account you desire. The Bill Payment Transaction has built in limitations
-
Just got this back: "It depends on the state law, the vendor’s nexus, and the shipping terms as to whether the supplier should charge tax. Some 33 states would accept the resale cert and not require tax to be charged." Welcome to US sales tax rules...wild wild west
-
if you had a tax engine like ONESOURCE (my employer) it would decide if you need to collect or not based on content updated weekly
-
How about Workflow? I see it as an available option for workflows
-
Well maybe I can be of help...I work with a tax engine all day...most of what you are handling should be dealt with via your Reseller Certificate...if they have it on file they should not be charging tax...if they dont well thats why things are so complicated
-
Fulfillment by Amazon was a topic covered in this years SuiteWorld18, pretty scary stuff for sellers on that platform....If you expect NetSuite to be of help here you are going to be disappointed...they are referring these things to Third Party Tax Engine providers and ramping up the features in SuiteTax.

Might be garbage or might be helpful: https://www.salestaxinstitute.com/resources/washington-issues-guidance-for-remote-sellers-following-wayfair-decision
-
So far no service being offered. I assume you got the same Nexus email the other day...you have some options...one of which could be to sign up for a third party tax engine to cover your duff.
-
Since I am super green at coding this may not be viable...why not mark future periods Inactive until you want them used? This way you already have your full year setup but it cant be used until you wish. I think a script can be set to mark the Accounting Period record as Not Inactive as of a certain time...
-
So...why not simply send them the Sales Order where you are recording these deposits? If they demand it to be an "Invoice" just create a Custom Form for Sales Orders and give it a nifty name to suit the client.
-
never mind...you cant seem to set the field under actions
-
Bad News. You cant. You will need a third party to calculate taxes for these scenarios. Good luck.

I looked over a product called A/R One a couple of years ago. They had a solution for emailing pdf's that seemed like it might fit this use case. Pretty cheap too. http://www.elimsolutions.ca/elimcampaigns/arone/landingpage/ar-one-campaign-2016.html?platform=hootsuite Good luck
