The same thing happens to me too!! I have to log out, close my browser window and sometimes reboot. That helps sometimes.

How do sub items appear on reports? I have been considering the same thing for many different items of ours too. Is it only possible to have a sub-item of an item on initial creation? I think I previously tried to edit items to be sub items and could not do it.
