My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

I have the following case created, Case # 5419452. They have stated there is an enhancement filed, and the issue is because of SuitePromotion being enabled in our account. Enhancement # 448865
-
I guess so. It was stated in my initial post but here you go.
-
I disabled those features and attempted to generate a PDF for a few invoices and received the same error.
-
I cannot reproduce the behavior in the NetSuite UI. It works just fine there.
-
SuitePromotions is enabled, yes.
-
I would say choose any customer that has open invoices, add yourself as a contact and give yourself access to the sca site and then navigate to where you can view your purchases/billing information, and then click to view the PDF of that transaction that is currently open and you will receive the error that I received.

Hello, After a little more trial and error I was able to get the results I needed by setting the summary type to "Maximum".. that removed the "- None -" values and it is now grouping the way I had intended. Thanks.
-
I could do that, however, it would need to be updated on a regular basis then to be current. As there could be customers that place orders this year that haven't in 2021 & 2022, so it wouldn't necessarily be as dynamic as I would require. Unless I'm able to populate those values on a scheduled basis every week or something…

This is the criteria and results of the new search I'm attempting to make. It's a Year to Date Growth Rep search.
-
Apologies. This screenshot should answer questions 1 & 2. As for question 3, the current results in that search is that it narrows down based on that criteria which customers didn't buy in 21 & 22 but did buy with the combined totals of 21, 22, & 23. And then there' just a few fields in the results for name, partner, sales…
-
That answers my question, thank you.
-
Well yes, but how can you use it on the SuiteCommerce site is the real question.
-
Hello @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, Yes! I was, and it was a success, thanks so much. We should be good now.
-
Hey @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, I relayed your response over to the developer, but it appears they are still running into issues. Here is what he got from attempting your last solution: POST /customer { "companyName": "Floyd's Test", "custentity_dd_special_customer_id": "NS5551212", "email": "jfloyd@netsuite.com", "phone":…

Hi @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, Thanks so much for you reply, I have passed along this information and received a response regarding the attempt to use what you had suggested. Here is what was stated: When attempting to use your payload, still getting 400: POST /customer { "companyName": "Floyd's Test",…

Hey @Ivy Lopez-Oracle, I have attempted to follow that SuiteAnswers solution but was not able to come up with anything. We've contacted NetSuite support in the past on this issue and haven't come to any sort of resolution. Thanks anyways.
-
Okay that is what I had thought, but thank you for confirming.
-
On another note, our developer has ran into another issue involving customer statuses. Here is the request where they receive an error: GET https://3838877-sb2.suitetalk.api.netsuite.com/services/rest/record/v1/customerStatus { "type": "https://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html#sec10.4.6", "title": "Method…

Thanks @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, I've gone ahead and relayed this information. I look forward to hearing back from you on the response from the engineers.
-
Hey @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, Thanks for the information. I've relayed this along and it appears that we were able to make some progress but now they are requiring to be able to create and delete items from an opportunity. Here was there response on the matter: "I tried to send POST and DELETE request POST…

Hello @Nicole Mendoza-Oracle, I relayed the information you had provided over to our developer and this is the response they came back with: this does not work. PATCH /opportunity/16574127 {"item": {"line": 1, "quantity": 5}} { "type": "https://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html#sec10.4.1", "title": "Bad…

Hey @Mark Vargas-Oracle, From what you are describing that enhancement does apply to what we were trying to achieve. Thanks.
-
Hey @Mark Vargas-Oracle , Thank you for the response, however, I do not believe that this solution will resolve what we are looking to achieve. Having contacts share a cart could potentially cause a conflict if multiple contacts are logged in at the same time placing separate orders. As such, we'd like to leave the setting…
