Now that I look, there is no option for List > Items. Can I not create a search form for items? Even within the order form, I would like for the customer to be able to search for items within the Sales Order?
-
Thanks! I was thinking though of bringing all of our site over to Netsuite, and to have it integrate in terms of the catalog of items, etc. Any tips on where to start?
-
Any luck with this?
-
Has this changed? Is there any way to get called-in orders to use the template???
-
I have created a custom CC for a customer. I have created a price level for this customer, a search list for those item, and a custom order form with a item filter applied to it to only show the items in the list. When using the form while logged into NS they work perfect but... When I go to login via CC, select to enter…

So, Evan, based on what you are saying, Pivot Reports will come out of beta and are here to stay - but reports will be removed, to be replaced by Saved Searches. You will have the pivot reports feature for presentation only, plus standard reports - but no customization. That will all be done in searches. Interesting. The…

What about searches? Would there be any way to customize a search to get it to in essence be a UNION of 2 searches? I don't know of any web query in searches. . .
-
Thanks, NS-Jedi. Here's the real issue, though. I can pull up a search and get the same numbers matching the Sales by Item report, by grouping and including certain transactions/accounts, etc, in my search criteria. The problem now is that we have additional criteria that is throwing the search off: We need to see items…
-
Is this really doable? Is there any way in Netsuite to see exactly which transactions affect inventory? Since implementation, we have been grasping at straws trying to get at the actual GL Impact through searches, etc, and I guess that would be the way? Looking for the inventory account? I guess we can look at quantity on…

I was thinking that as well... the question is what is that formula? I can't seem to get a CASE WHEN working with Count({number})...? (Count of number gives me the total number of sales orders the item appears on, but I can't use that in the formula.) I've seen this done with Sum(...) in the past, but not with count. For…
-
How can you take that Count of Sales Orders and rank them - for example, I want anything above 200 in a certain time frame to display "A", over 60 to display "B", and over 0 to display a "C" - the rest, "D" Any way to automate this via this saved search, and a Case When combined with a Rank function or something???
-
Wow. I've never been more confused before about something like this. What you just said both makes a lot of sense, yet no sense at all! Thanks for clarifying things, and pointing out just what a mess Netsuite's roles are! Seriously, though, you are spot on & you helped me understand what this mess is all about. Netsuite,…

Thanks. I guess nobody else is experiencing the same behavior? There were a ton of permissions-related issues in this latest release, then they had a fix released about a week after the 2013.2 upgrade. But, this seems to be their "fix" - we'll see what support says.
-
We use OzLink for Package Validation and they can ensure that you scan the correct number of items on your item fulfillment. They even have a module that lets you know which items are in which box.
-
Jerry, When you did yours how was the response time? Our Developer did this for us but it seems to take an entire Minute (over 60 seconds) for Fedex to return a response with a pdf copy of the label created. You do this, with a PDF copy of the label created? We only have it set up to the point where the customer is…
-
We do exactly this.
-
Correcting for the sake of others looking for the setting: You need to set the preference "Show Non-Inventory Items on Printed Forms" You'll find this in SetUp > Accounting > Preferences : Accounting Preferences - Order Management
-
We use OZLink for shipping currently with Fedex/USPS, but I can't imagine the experience with UPS would differ greatly: amazing customer service, efficiency boosting, time-saving software, which is highly customizable both on the client side as well as when working with them. Worked out many issues and hurdles that come up…

Will that still only show fulfillable items, or non-fufillable as well? We would like to only show fulfillable non-inventory items.

On certain orders we are receiving the same error right now... This order has been partially or fully processed and may not be reset to 'Pending Approval'. This is not the result of our approval script, as that script is not even engaging... Anyone?
-
Did you open a ticket with support about this? Is the system supposed to behave this way?
-
We do, too, though slightly different. Our issue stems from the fact that we are using multiple locations, and somehow this field either gets set or not based on who is printing it and from which queue. When they go into the Print Pick Tickets screen and filter by their location, sometimes it will update and sometimes it…
-
So, what are the advantages to a SuiteCloud Plus license in terms of not only the web services connections but the queues for scheduled scripts?
-
Same here. I am assuming this is not supposed to continue...
-
There is one catch to this whole printing thing. . . The fields - all fields - that are referenced by the formula field must be shown, albeit at .0001 width. So, even if the formula is a CASE WHEN statement, and the CASE WHEN looks up another custom field that you do not want to show, you must at the very least show the…
-
No - we are actually trying to hide those fields. . . we want to show a modified version of those fields based on certain criteria. Should we show the original columns/fields, and set it to 0 width? Would that work?
-
I guess so! Well, it seems true that hiding a column field, or unchecking the Print box, affects the formula field on the printed form. However, adding it back to the printed form and assigning it a width as close to 0 as possible (.0001, as the number must be positive), causes the formula field to operate normally and yet…
-
Thanks for the reply. Can you explain, though? It is possible to print formula fields? I created a custom column transaction field, which is a formula field based on certain criteria (CASE WHEN ELSE) and added it to a certain custom form, set them to print on the form, and the columns do show. However, the columns are…
-
Evan, Has this ever been resolved? I am trying to print a formula field that does not store a value - is this really not possible to do in Netsuite? Thanks!
-
Thanks, Assem . I think the issue was that my password was updated in the SB environment (old Sandbox environment, still, not the new architecture - it was last refreshed prior to January). Either way, we're good to go, now! Thanks
