also getting a 404 from system.netsuite.com. system2.netsuite.com seems to be working fine.

This will be very easy if you use lead and prospect records as they are by definition customer who have not purchased from you. If you are entering all customers in as customers and not using the lead and prospect stages, create a saved customer search which includes a Date of First Sale is empty filter. This should give…

Have you considered purchasing the Incentive Compensation Module? I know module prices may seem expensive but when you consider the amount of time you spend on calculating and paying commissions vs. the benefits that the Incentive Compensation Module it really does pay for itself. If this is absolutely not an option, you…

Hello Christine, It's difficult to say without looking at the actual pdf template. Have you accidentally set your text color to white while customizing your pdf template? It sounds like all of your borders are printing but none of your text. I would definitely look into the text formatting settings. Maybe you can try…

We are down with "An unexpected error has occured. Please go back and try again."

Hi Paul, Have you considered exporting a list of your customers and running an update import with the merchant 2 selected as your default credit card processor?
-
99% of the errors that I have researched have not been NetSuite related. Your payment gateway should have a reporting tool on their website. Use the log-in credentials you have used with NetSuite to access your payment gateway's site and access the reporting tools. Specifically PayFlow Pro has a pretty decent reporting…

Hi Michael, If the homeowner address is meant to be informational and truly has no bearing on the transaction in terms of where an invoice should be sent or where product will be shipped, I would suggest using custom transaction body fields and merging them in a text area field, much like the shipping and billing addresses…

The best practice is to fill the BOMs and allow the true raw material costing to produce your finished goods costs. You can certainly do what you are saying, but this is ill-advised. If you want to do this without impacting the P&L, you should purchase into an other current asset account and when adjusting your finished…
-
Hi George. Are you purchasing raw materials and manufacturing goods? NetSuite has modules available for manufacturing with varying degrees of complexity. Please expand on the business process and we'd be happy to help.
-
Hi Caroline, Have you considered entering the invoice but not yet generating the asset? In other words, when you go to the propose assets screen and the asset comes up to be generated, just ignore it until you know when it will be put to use.

Hi Mike, You're limited to a number of refreshes for the sandbox term, but if you wanted to do them all at the start of the term, you could do that. There is not an amount of time you have to wait to perform another refresh. Definitely consult with your NetSuite account manager about this.
-
There is an "Other Prices" column in the results tab which shows all the alternate price levels in columns. Try using that instead of the price level fields.

Create a new account, move the old transactions into it and delete the old account.

Specifically for these types of field where a measurement is required, have you considered making these integer or decimal number fields instead of free-form text? Would it be possible to standardize the UOM for these measurements (i.e. cc's for volume) so only a number is necessary. It seems like you could also use drop…

Once you log-in to the role it is impossible to delete it. I believe this is because of the log-in audit trail associated with the role. Best thing to do is simply inactivate the role.
-
Great minds think alike Olivier... Haha.
-
Also, if you customize the entity form to only display the information you want and assign that form as the default form for your rep role. Then clicking the print button will only display what is on the form which is the information you are looking for.

Hello Andrew and msmith, Have you considered tapping into the NetSuite Solution Provider community? NetSuite has a large community of partners which provide the solutions you are looking for. Feel free to contact me via e-mail using the link below and I would be happy to discuss your needs in more detail. You can also…

There is really nothing to access. Create your new subsidiary record. I believe you can create it with no parent which should make it the parent and bring the others underneath it. If you have to assign a parent, assign the existing parent, then edit the existing parent and place it make the new entity the parent. This…
-
Hi Coffeeguy, Just edit the subsidiaries and change the parent. Of course make sure to do this first in sandbox, get exports of all of your reports, etc. before making the change.
-
JohnCCole you still have the ability to customize the report to only show activity for the US sub but run in a parent company context in CAD. It is not necessary to add an additional sub in between.
-
Hi TThompson, My understanding is that you can inactivate the subsidiaries if they are no longer being used and should be able to get the provisioned country count on your account lowered at the time of your renewal. This still allows you to report on the subsidiaries but no longer allows you to create new records for…

Thanks for your help Darren. I agree with you about involving NetSuite PS but I usually get better responses on the user group. Yes Damon, my client has upgraded to OneWorld and we are currently assisting with the implementation.
-
We were unable to get a refresh in our sandbox account and went ahead and turned on MLI in our clients production account so we can get the upgrade to OneWorld going, but we didn't notice that there were negative inventory quantities for the null inventory location. How do we get rid of these amounts if we are unable to…
-
Hi Elynch, You are showing a cost. Keep in mind that you are impacting inventory, a balance sheet account, and COGS, an income statement account. If you were to run profitability or an income statement for the project, you would see this as a cost. Hope this helps.
-
Hi Julie, If you can't make it mandatory using form customization, have you thought about adding a SuiteScript function that requires the project field to be populated before saving?
-
Hi Peter, How difficult was it for you to generate a calendar using a script? I'm having trouble just deciding where to start. This is really one of those things that I wanted to stay away from scripting because it's not really something specific to one type of business. I believe most businesses would benefit from being…
