  • Evan - Let's start out fresh. I've read through the thread about 50 times and I still don't understand where we left off. New thread: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?p=43872#post43872
  • Got it. Now I just need to figure out a way to display the time in days instead of hours...the executives will want to see the cycle in days instead of hours. Hours will be more of an exception than a rule for our sales cycle. Any ideas?
  • Would this still be feasible if we are not creating and fulfilling sales orders in NetSuite? I don't think this will work. For our B2B customers, we use the web service to post invoice totals in NetSuite... Plus I'm looking to create a report NOT a search.
  • Since the beginning, the results have displayed negative integers -- not all records but mostly the ones that seemed to have closed the same day they were entered...
  • Yes, this is a custom Customer Search. This is what I'm getting back: Date Created Date Closed Formula (Numeric) 01/29/2007 09:01 am 1/29/2007 .083298611111111111111111111111111111111 04/02/2007 03:18 pm 4/2/2007 .083321759259259259259259259259259259259 01/02/2007 11:02 am 1/2/2007 .083321759259259259259259259259259259259…
  • The Date Closed field only works when an opportunity is attached to the record. I want to use the System Notes to determine when the Status changed but when I use the following formula, it says the System Notes : Date field can not be found... Company Name Date Created System Notes : Date Date Formula (Text) trunc({System…
  • Is there any way to convert the lenthy numbers to average hours?
  • I misunderstood. I thought the Formula (Numeric) had to change because I have removed the Date Created and Date Closed - replaced with Formula (Text) lines for Date Created and Date Closed. Example: Field Summary Type Function Formula Custom Label Alert Recipient Formula (Text) to_char({datecreated},'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI')…
  • We are getting warmer...which formula is best used for the Formula (Numeric)once I've made the character changes to Date Created and Date Closed? The to_char({dateclosed}-to_char({dateclosed} throws Invalid Expression... Company Name Formula (Text) to_char({datecreated},'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI') Date Created Formula (Text)…
  • Accepts the formula but on the physical search results.... Formula (Numeric) column displays "ERROR: Invalid Expression."
  • I tried adding the Formula(Date) field to search results using the formula {datecreated}-{dateclosed} and I always get an Unexpected Error notification. The search result columns include the Company Name, Date Created, and Date Closed. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...
  • This looks a little easier on the eyes. How is it possible I am still ending up with negative numbers? 01/19/2007 04:01 pm 1/19/2007 -2 02/16/2007 02:05 pm 2/16/2007 -1
  • Trying to use the standard KPI meter for closed cases so I'm not sure why this doesn't display for a Support Center custom role.
  • Yes, this problem is on beta 2007.0. I will post the Issue number as soon as I receive it from Support.
  • First and foremost, improve quality of customer service. I have had so many occasions I've called Silver Support to explain a NetSuite functionality to me and I leave the call with a case number with "I will conduct research on my end." I find this completely unacceptable! On a seperate occasion, I've found the support…
  • This is good to know but with this in mind we can not truely test our workflows if emails are NOT delivered from BETA.
  • NS support is doing more testing but the Case # filed is 569093. We tested in Beta 2007.0, emails go through for invoice notification but NOT support case notification.
  • Which HOME are you clicking on? When I get the error message, I don't have a HOME option to click on.
  • So, in short, does each customer have an opportunity to access beta? If so, how do we get in?
  • I also have no experience with beta. We are quickly approaching our first full year in NetSuite. This will be our second major roll out - I would also be interested in learning more about beta and how Admins get in!
  • We are in the same boat and have been given little direction on how to accomplish this other than creating groups to include the employee, employee's supervisor, and HR contact, etc. I submitted an enhancement request to NS support on this very topic. Enhancement #98126
  • My point exactly. The PO is submitted under the Employee Center and I can't add permission to receive PO's using this role. I'm wondering how other companies handle these transactions?
  • Here is a clarification to our issue: Our situation: One designated employee (in the HR Dept.) is assigned the Employee Center role. She is responsible for submitting PO's when the company credit card is used for company travel arrangements and general purchases. We enabled the Advanced Receiving feature so Accounting…
  • I realize this is more of a workflow question but I'm looking for ideas. An employee submits the PO (with Advanced Receiving turned on) through the Employee Center, the supervisor approves it, who is it receive it?
  • Maybe something else you might want to try is including a custom field on the case form to be selected by your customer. Create a Saved Search for the support reps to work from. We've found the Highlighting feature very useful in Saved Searches. This quickly highlights a given condition. I hope this helps...unfortunately,…
  • Take comfort as you are not alone! I struggle with the very same issue. Here are some related posts. None of which have given us resolution but maybe they can help you! :o If your company does NOT have processes that cross over department lines, I think the department/employee restrictions on the user roles is a good…
  • Which browser are you using? This is the response I received from our implementor last year: IE7 Patch If you have upgraded to IE 7 you may have noticed CPU spikes or crashes when using NetSuite or other sites with rich content driven by AJAX. This issue is caused by the Phishing Filter in IE 7. Microsoft has a patch for…
  • Completely different and NetSuite called me back with a resolution I could not believe... In order to display our company name on the invoice I had to customize the invoice form and PDF layout we use "Printing Fields." Check off Company Name and type in our name in the Label! I had no idea this had to be done...I thought…
  • Sion, Thank you for the suggestions. I removed the set Department/Class from my employee record but it didn't make a difference. I don't have access to Firefox. Is there still hope for me? ;)
  • Maybe I should phrase the question this way...how do I set this up: 1. Employees submit expenses using UI (Not Employee Center). 2. All Expenses require manager authorization. 3. All Expenses should default to our default Expense account NOT "Unapproved Expenses."
