Looks like the fix is undergoing testing. That's good news.

That's exactly what I needed. I forgot all about the tab. I made it inactive some time ago and I guess it disappeared from my brain. Thanks again.
-
Apparently size does matter. I reduced the resolution and they work now. There must be a maximum size. We use high res pictures for printing from within Netsuite but I guess we've hit a cap for the web. If it's an intentional cap, it would be nice to know what it is.

Thanks for the detective work. I'll file a case in the morning and resize some of the pictures manually.
-
Yup, manually editing the list in the category should do it. If you have the advanced site module, you can use the layout applied to the category or tab to order things by sequence, price or name (and ascending or descending). You can also opt to let customers change the order like this.

I don't think the item options that mimi is referring to is a custom field. I assumed item options meant transaction item options. Is that a valid assumption mimi?
-
I don't think there is. See this thread:
-
I believe that does work ... it's just a lot of work. It takes seconds to un-check the web store box on a list of items but up to 30 minutes to remove all the categories from them. Many of our items are in up to 4 categories so that's a lot of work. It's just as much work to add all the categories back in again. Our staff…

Yes ... that's made me re-think how I've approached some of my formatting. Thanks for the detailed example.
-
If you find an option other than javascript, let us know. If you decide to go the clunky route, you might be able to glean some info from this thread. We did conditional formating of the item template using javascript. https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=1558&highlight=javascript

That would work for a drill-down template but as far as I know you can't select a list cell template on an item-by item basis. So it depends on the type of template we're talking about, right?
-
Some of them have been resolved. For example, the ability to use templates on search results and saved searches has been added. That's one that I've been eagerly anticipating for a few years now.
-
Seriously ... I think the folks at Netsuite ought to consider just making the integration of various Google tools standard and simple. Google searches, analytics, site maps, email and calendaring should work in an integrated way with Netsuite right out of the box, without any hacks. It's time to get on board the Google…

I'm just stepping out ... will post later this evening. Ok ... here goes. These are the settings that work for us. I have no idea if they follow best practices so use them at your own peril. :) All I can recommend is to use a bit of trial and error to get what you want. I'd also suggest searching these forums for more ways…

Just making sure ;) I would think that modifying the permissions for sales orders would do what you need. Our "My Account" section has only "See All Transactions", "Edit Your Profile" and "Change your email address and password".
-
This may be a stupid question but have you created a custom role for this or are you trying to edit the existing customer center role? Like all roles in Netsuite, you can't edit the built in roles, you need to modify them and them save them as new roles. The new role should have lots of permissions you can mess with,…

To be able to edit the themes and add CSS to the "My Account" pages you need to have the site builder module. If you don't see setup>website>themes then you either do not have this module or it is not enabled in your account... setup>company>enable features web presence tab, check "advanced site customization" If you find…
-
Can you post a link?
-
Never mind.
-
Can't you specify that in your item layout? You should be able to list the items with the most recent at the top by default if that's all you're trying to do. PS: This feature may require the advanced site module.
-
I found the above resource to be a bit unreliable so I switched to feedburner (now owned by Google). 1. Set up a feedburner account. 2. Add your Netsuite feed. 3. Go to the Publicize tab in feedburner and use Buzzboost. 4. Insert the code into your Netsuite site. The downside to using this is the little feedburner logo…

Well, it isn't elegant and it might break but using this does the job. you can see the results on our home page. I have no idea if this creates any search engine issues.
-
We have thousands of photos, all stored in Netsuite. The answer to your question is ... depends. How large are your photos and how much storage does your contract allow for? Knowing how many is too many remains difficult to figure out.
-
There should be no complaints over 100 MB. I would think you really only need to be concerned if you get into the many GB range.
-
That would be pretty easy to do with an <iframe tag> I think. We have a blog on our website that's done this way. If you use blogger like I did then you can set up e-mail blogging. That let's your users post to the blog via an email address. So ... you could set up the email address blog@dva.com and any emails sent there…
-
You have a couple of simple options that might at least reduce the problem. I assume that you have advanced website customization. 1. Change the text on the website. We had a problem with people un-checking the shipping address box in their account. It was an issue because that's the address that their tax receipts are…
-
Ooooo! That makes me happy. No more selecting 5 categories for every item I add. Thanks Evan.
-
I could do that but I'd prefer not to clog up our item list with news items for our web site. I'll just go without the photo caption for now. It seems like a shame that I can't use a field that already exists and would work perfectly for this purpose.
-
Right, I'm using vcordova's solution right now, but that doesn't work for information items since I can't add custom fields to those. That's why I was hoping to use the image's fields to get around that limitation.
-
I don't think I explained myself very well. I want to use the caption field to actually display a caption under the picture. So if the picture is of Bill Gates, under the picture on the web page our customer would actually see the words "Bill Gates" when viewing an item that uses that picture.
