that's where we are as well. Using system2.netsuite.com doesn't help either.
-
verified its happening in all browsers to multiple people in different physical locations.

I've just had an email indicating that a support case has been created, however the popup submission window just hangs on the POST'ing of the form and never provides feedback that it worked.

I have been using Netsuite all today (In Brisbane) with 2 different accounts. No problem. It seems to have affected some but not all. Then perhaps it is a network problem, one carrier back-haul under load and not another..... It has been better the past hour or so.

.....Whirlpool forum seems to indicate there are issues with some of Telstras systems in the US. hmmm...we use optus and iinet (which I thought used a telstra backhaul but just discovered uses optus - so that's a redundancy fail for me) so perhaps it is the overseas systems that everyone probably transits that are the…

We haven't rolled out a webshop yet, but I don't relish the thought of combing through spurious customer records for form spam... Is there a way to hook a javascript that could do input filtering on the incoming data? Kinda like akismet does for comment spam in blogs?

Glad I found this thread, this has been driving us barmy for the last 20 hours or so. (trying to do some rolling stocktakes and adjustments) Seemed to start around 5:00PM yesterday and what's been frustrating is how intermittent it is. It will be perfectly responsive for a few minutes and then suddenly search pop-ups…

I've wanted to use them too but you can only have 2 per dashboard with a single feed specified per portlet right? What I'd love to see is a way to aggregate a number of feeds from multiple websites (say a collection of industry relevant blogs) and merge that into one rss feed that you can then place on a sales rep…

I guy walks in to work to do stocktake and walks right into a 404,,, Eight bytes walk into a bar. The bartender asks, “Can I get you anything?” “Yeah,” reply the bytes. “Make us a double.”

True story Mark R: My standard speech to techies is "I went into engineering in 1972 with a slide rule and came out in 1976 with a Bowmar calculator. I'm a GOOD customer for you because I understand how computers work, but DO NOT TALK TECH to me". SO in 1998 in conversation with my first web guy, a 27 year old surfer dude,…

In North Carolina.. we're back in now. They just updated the status page. https://status.netsuite.com/status_en_US.html to: Some Service Interruption Back up in brisbane! Here's one more joke for the road that I couldn't resist, apologies in advance :p . Why do programmers always mix up Halloween and Christmas? Because Oct…

single datacentre location FTW.

last time this happened people ended up telling IT jokes to lighten the dour mood. Any good ones?

This is a new one for us as well! Is it just australian customers or everyone? edit I see people in NY have it as well......someone fat fingered a firewall rule?
-
I can't think of one snide enough, but someone here must be able to come up with a good one featuring 'clouds' and storms or something similar. :P

Last one I promise guys..... A lawyer, a doctor and a computer engineer are driving a car up a curvy, hilly road. The car speeds around a corner, slips, smashes through the highway barrier, and flies down a cliff. By some miracle, the 3 people survive. The doctor immediately says: "We need to make sure that everyone is ok.…

We're down as well (qld). Have you guys noticed slow periods during the last week? It was discussed briefly in another thread a few days ago, but its been excrutiatingly slow on submit of any record for most of last week. Been fine so far this week until this afternoon, and now........nothing :)
-
We were working for about 5min then been down and up twice. Since then its been good, we seem to be back up and running. Status.netsuite.com hasn't changed though. :(
-
we're back up on system.netsuite.com

Here's the first IT related joke I could find on google: Have you heard the story of the person who called into tech support with a problem. The IT support walked the caller through a number of steps on the keyboard, then finally told the caller, "Now all you have to do is press any key." After a long pause, the caller…

Since 11:40 or so AEST in qld australia, we've been running slow. Viewing saved searches, lists etc seems to run okay, as soon as you save/submit anything.......sloooowwwwwwww response no feedback, lots of waiting. EDIT: The problem seems to occur on save/submit, ns just sits there displaying the page (doesn't go blank or…

Having seen this thread last week, it was serendipitous catching this link on twitter on the weekend: http://blog.backblaze.com/2009/09/01/petabytes-on-a-budget-how-to-build-cheap-cloud-storage/ At Backblaze, we provide unlimited storage to our customers for only $5 per month, so we had to figure out how to store hundreds…

We've had our guys get this error sporadically on both IE and firefox. It seems to be when they're entering long (20 plus item transactions: s/orders/fulfillments/cash sales etc) over 10 minutes or more. In our case we often get yellow "javascript errors on page" icon at the bottom left of the browser window and the…

Glad they at least saw that occuring. It makes me wonder what constitutes activity? Is it only on page refresh that all the cookies/auth are updated? I would have thought that adding/removing line items or anything ajax'y would also count towards resetting the 15m timeout (mentioned in the manual under session management),…

The administrator cannot unlock the user's access before 30 minutes; only NetSuite Support can do so. Please change course on this back to how it was. I can respond a lot faster than netsuite support can. It's a waste of time for them to be waiting 30min to reset their password when I was previously able to reset it in…
-
Thanks guys. Looking forward to the fix.
-
And now..... in trying to solve the issue of the security questions not being reset with support, our webservices user account has been locked out with.......no way to unlock it for 30min. So standstill in the warehouse.
-
Hi all, I haven't had to reset anyone's password since the above (everyone's being more careful with security questions), but are you saying that resetting the users password will not clear the lockout timer (that wasn't changed in 304159 fix?) I can't understand why that would be the case if an admin role has reset the…

So, here's another scenario. We have a couple of user accounts setup for webservices access (but also having UI access for integration developers). It's been happily working via webservices, but today they went to try and login to the web interface to troubleshoot integration issues. They are asked for security questions…
