You should be able to do a transaction search to get all transaction information. By default the Main Line criteria is false so the results will include a row for each line item. You'll just have to add all of the fields you want to the results. I'm not sure about getting the attachments out and maintaining which…

A couple of thoughts based on my experience. Have you opened the file using another program, other than Excel? It is very likely that the 0 is retained but Excel strips it or does not display it when you open the file. It is true that a csv file does not contain formatting but that does not stop Excel from doing the…

Yeah that's the case. First, it is less than ideal that the import process lets you map a system field that can't be updated in the first place. Second, it would be better to have a message that states that fact rather than leading the user to believe that there is a problem with the data. For bringing in legacy data it…

What criteria are you using in the import to identify the companies? Is it just by name or do you have an identifier? I have imported a company with dozens of contacts and not had an issue of duplication. Another idea would be to try importing the company first and then importing the contacts and linking them to the…

I have never been able to successfully do an import with both leads and contacts. There was always some error no matter what I did. After working with support we finally just agreed to do two separate imports on the same file.
-
I am going to be looking into this as well. It would be great to hear the experiences of others who have used it.

Nothing today but we did experience a big change in transaction performance a couple weeks ago. In our case processing took long enough that the browser would time out. We worked with support but they couldn't identify a cause. The issue went away after a day or two without any explanation, which didn't make me feel much…

Glad to verify this is an issue. I'll send in a case so I can hopefully receive updates. We heavily rely on the ODBC for reporting so it was noticed quickly this morning. And I'll add my voice to the others that this really should be reflected on the status site.

I have also been trying to figure this out and need a way to sell to employees. The idea of creating duplicate records is ridiculous. NetSuite, please say there is a better way.
-
Here's some elevator music to enjoy while you wait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJkxFhFRFDA Can we convince NetSuite to replace their hold music with this? Please :D

At least NetSuite's site is down as well. Equal suffering for all. Matt, what status page are you looking at? Edit: Nevermind, I found it.
-
Login works. At least there was some good entertainment during the outage. Thanks everybody :)

Got an email from our account rep at 1417 MST saying: Of course jschneller was told the same thing 10 minutes ago (and counting)

Waiting and waiting and waiting...

We recently started using the ODBC for queries and reporting. We didn't notice this issue because we haven't done much reporting with customer records yet. I do think it would be interesting though to know how much the ODBC is used. I doubt NetSuite would provide those figures though since it might indicate how often users…

I was also disappointed to find that duplicate detection is not available for Employees. That means that when we do end up with duplicates someone has to manually change the association on all records tied to the duplicate entry before it can be deleted. Not cool.

I'm not getting the errors anymore though I'm not sure what changed. I'm keeping an eye on it and running processes periodically to make sure it was just a temporary glitch. If you are getting wsdl errors you could try pointing to a different one. I'm not sure what differences you would have to account for between…

I'm doing the same thing this morning, posting a problem with web services as a sanity check. I hate contacting support only to have them say, "Everything looks good on our end." Sometimes it's nice to know others are having the same problem.
-
I did hear back but they did not know of an outage and can not reproduce at the moment. I am retrying the process and having more luck at the moment. The weird thing is that the NetSuite web service logs do not show the error from earlier.
-
Yep, this looks like it is a problem on their end. Nothing you can do from your end really.
-
I can't connect this morning and am wondering if the problem is still lingering. Throws an exception when the process tries the call to login.
-
I went ahead and submitted a case but am still interested in hearing if others are experiencing problems.
-
Were you able to get this working? This is something I am also working on and struggling to get.
-
There have been a couple threads started on this. It is being seen by a lot of people so I hope that Maria is right and NetSuite really is addressing this. We don't use NetSuite for our website but have noticed the slowing in the application.
-
Yeah, I was watching this as well. Really the message should say a few minutes or hours.
-
I have seen several issues when using Safari to access NetSuite. Clicking buttons often crashes the browser. I've pretty much gone to a "you're on your own if you try Safari" policy.
-
You're much better off adding a column to your file to hold the information and then selecting that field in your mapping. I have also had much better success using the internal id to identify the parent rather than the name. That may be in part due to the data but I would not rely on NetSuite's string matching to…

It seems more likely that something is set up to limit estimate creation. That could be a permission problem with the role or user, a configuration issue where the form hides the button, or even a browser incompatibility issue. Just a couple of thoughts.
-
Another option would be to use html to add an image rather than using the <NLCOMPANYLOGO> tag. Upload the file in Documents > Files > Images and be sure to check the Available Without Login option. Then use one of the URLs that NetSuite gives you to set up the <img src="URL"> tag in the html.

I am encountering the same error. The client installs but gives a connection error on startup. Is there still no answer to this problem?
