I have not tried this yet but, have you tried a summary search for this? It seems that you could do a Job Tasks search to grouped by employee, and sum Hours. In this case I think you will get 0 for any missing time sheets and a number for everything else. Thoughts?

I don't have that screen either, Can you tell us where you find this screen?
-
That is Exactly what I needed. Thanks. I swear I searched for that function or anything like it but did not find it. Sometimes the answer is just too simple. Thanks again, -Sean

Try selling it to them not as another place to store document but as an upgrade to the NS file cabinet system, so can add permissions and access the file via Mobile.
-
Have you looked at the Box.net integration for this? It in esense replaces that standard NS file cabinet. It may serve very nicely here. Each user couple have their own BOX folder that is secure that can be accessed from their laptop or the Smartphone app while on the road and the item put in that folder could be attached…

did you ever receive an answer to this question?

Thanks for the reply. I'm very new to NetSuite - you're saying there's a way I can create a series of checkboxes, and depending on which one is marked, different fields will appear? How can I set this up? (If you can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful!) Hello Kristin, We do this for our clients often…

What type of script are you using?
-
I have been able to get around this issue buy zipping the file first and uploading the Zipped file. the NS does not assign the Excel file type to it. Then you can open the zip to get the file you need it is an extra step but it works. Also if you can use Web Services you can open the file in web Services and Pass the…

Also check all of your fields to be sure they are Numbers and not Text! If the field is Text <1 will not work. you will have to do an explicit conversion from text to number.
-
When would you like this sample created? If you are ok with putting a button on the form you can do this via suite script. The script can iterate though the fields on the form and get the internalIds and values via the script and create the xml file in the file cabinet.
-
Perhaps a custom check box on the item form to indicate that you what to transfer that item. Then you could write your script to look for all items that have the box checked and transfer it. That way you could do all items at once or in batches.

Did you resolve this? What turned out to be the issue?
-
I want point out in case you are not aware, When soon as you total Storage, Data and Files in NetSuite goes over 10,000mb (or about 9 gig). You will be subject to additional fee's from NetSuite. What happened to me is they did not hit me immediately but at renew they force me to move to a premium service tier and it was a…

We are in the same boat. As per best practice, we requested a refresh just before starting on a major development project with hard Deadlines and deliverables, So we are now trying do some dev work in Production while we wait at NetSuite Pleasure to resolve this issue or at least get us an estimate. we are soon going to…

Has Anyone has their refresh completed yet? Our has been "Delayed" since Jan 11.

Has anyone found a good/better way of determining record storage size in NetSuite?
-
it does appear to be down right now.

Angela/Rebecca, Glad to hear you go through it. Can you share what the solution was? I have been experiencing that same issue that all CSV imports with more that a couple thousand records are taking entirely too long. I would love to hear what helped you get through it. Thanks Sean

I saw it for a about a day this past Tuesday. but assumed it was somthing I did as it went away on its own.

HOW TO PREVENT THIS: Make sure that no one in your organization is using a standard built in role. On your custom roles, remove the 'Manage Entity Duplicates' permission. you can then enable this permission for a very small group of people who really need it. To merge a group of customers into one would take a least 4…

visa uses 4111111111111111 with any exp and any cvv for testing. Also if you are going to post a test order using a real card you can put CC processing profile in to test mode then it will not actually process the charge to your card.

Sandbox is down as well.

Sandbox is back up now

Hi, We have recently discovered a similar issue, Not sure if it is the same but worth a look I think. One of our customers uses Avatax for sales tax calculations and after the 2013.1 upgrade noticed that the taxes we wrong or they were getting errors. It turns out the we it was using the Location field to reflect the…

Same problem here!

sometimes contacts are entered with incorrect spelling when the contact record is created. When we choose to edit the contact the "Contact ID (auto)" is not updating to reflect the changes made to the name fields. How can this be updated? it is not an editable field as it if fed directly from the name fields. If I…

Hi Elie, We have seen this a few times similarly to your situation with custom fields on the Entity record. The fields generally are either formula fields, sourced fields, or have a complex filtering situation. Most recently I was able to work around the issue by systematically un-applying my custom fields from the…

We have this in at least 3 accounts as well, two customer accounts, and one test account. I was going to file a case but seems like after reading this i do not need to. A fix is coming? - Sean

Try looking at the transaction is there a list or sublist of contracts for that Transaction? if so try clicking the Remove link at the far right of the Contacts list. This will break the connection between your contract and transaction. you should then be able to delete the Contract Record.
