My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

Did you ever figure this out? I need to export monthly budget records.
-
This is typical for Netsuite. I have dozens of enhancement that you would assume should be typical accounting features. So based on this thread, there is nothing I can do to export budgets by month. Is that correct? my guess is you're are going to tell me to go vote on it.

What I'm saying is if I login as the employee center role and I'm in the Engineering Department only the service items that are in the Engineering Department will be availible.
-
I'm on version 2008.1 and I still can get to the access this value.
-
inventorynumber records are not yet supported. We added support for serializedinventoryitem and lotnumberedinventoryitem records in 2008 release 1. One thing you could try doing is performing an item (or any item subtype) search and joining in inventorynumber fields. The search join to use would be inventoryNumber. This…

I am not able to access the custom field on the serial/lot number either. Have you had an update on this?
-
I've been trying to do the same thing and have been getting nowhere. Has anyone made any progress on this? Thanks...

Is there any way to trake vacation time in Netsuite? Is there any custom app out there?
-
I'm having the same issue. Has anyone found a work around?

Has anyone created a work around for this? \

IS there been a solution for this?

How do you use the register form?

I am also getting errors with my save searches. We are unable to publish any of them. Netsuite is saying that it is a defect but classified it as a S3 and will not give me a date for it to be corrected. This has been a problem only since our upgrade. It feels like a microsoft update.

I have been having major problems with saved searches since the upgrade. Discovered the last column is not editable. Editing some searches from portlet sets a public search to private. Apparently some of our saved searches were corrupted during the upgrade. No resolution from NS yet - ones suggestion was to recreate them.…

But you can not add columns or modify the format so It can be directly upload to your 401K provider. It is a real pain to do this. You can view the deductions after you run a payroll, but you can not run a report to see if all the deductions are correct before you do payroll.
-
Hi Tompos, You can view amounts of all employees for a deduction by clicking on Lists -> Employees -> Payroll Items and then click, Let's say 401 (k). It will display you deduction's properties and all employees to which this deduction apply. It will also display deduction amount or percentage for those employees. I hope…

It has been ok. They have done a good job taking care of any tax problems quickly. We are paying employees in 7 different states. It is also very nice to have everything integrated with my accounting. The only problem is I can't get any of the reports that I need. The reporting in NetSuite is pretty bad. I've tried to work…

My work around was to find a new payroll company. I'm not sure I've ever had netsuite fix an issue that I voted on. I can show you at least 20 issues that I have had that netsuite tells me to vote on it and nothing ever happens.
-
Did this question ever get answered? I have the same problem. I also have an employee that is being denied a loan because I can't figure out how to print the company name on the payroll stub. We do everything direct deposit however employees need to have a printed check with the company name on it for the banks. Our normal…

This is absolute bull. I was told by ADP when I first purchased my NetSuite Account that I would not have to pay for my accountant. I just realized that it was taken away. How do you take away services without notifying the clients? Netsuite really needs to look at how they are managing their business.
-
We are doing the same. Did you find a solution? Thank you.

I'm having the same problem. Has anyone been able to connect NetSuite ODBC to Excel? I tried to tell my account manager that we didn't want it any more but was told we still have to pay for it.
