Hi Brett Well let me re-word my issue. I can receive an item just fine and I can receive a separate bill and tie it to the item receipt and it works as it should. But here is the question or concern that I have. Best way is to use an example. You have a purchase order for a widget at a price of $1000.00. You receive the…

Thanks Marque. The role does have full "Documents and Files" permission, and I can attach files to a standard case record under the role and using GUI. However, it fails in my suitelet. In the Suitelet, the role add a record to the custom record type, and accepts the uploaded file, but fails nlapiAttachRecord. Something…

Attaching a file to a custom record. It works perfectly under when "run as Administrator". I need help identify what permission to give so a non-admin would be able to do the same.

Sorry Steve I just saw your post today. For some reason I didn't get email notified when there is a reply. Anyway, they did tie the case to defect 258233. And today they informed me that you have to add domains and script parameters to make it work. Here is the instruction they updated me: var domains =…

Thanks Carlo for the response. However, two things: a) nlapiRequestURLwithCredentials is supposed to handle both POST and GET. I was basically doing what the document tells me to do b) It's unrealistic to force external sites to accept POST only. I am hoping somebody from NetSuite can point out what was obviously wrong in…

Never mind. Problem is on the remote server. My fault.

What's the name of the record/list that I will be search in order to get the List of Customer Status? When I looked up "Scriptable Records", I don't see one for customer status.

I am not sure if you really need to know what the definition of every item is in the NetSuite Tax Code is. To help you prepare the sales tax return in California, you would run a report called "Sales Tax Liability by Tax Agency" as I have used this report all the time to prepare the return and I had no use for the report…

Hi Kiko, Looks like your enhancement request is still "under review" and not yet available. If your partner uses an instance of NetSuite by itself, our latest SuiteApp "Hubcase for NetSuite" may be able to help you. Email me if you'd like to discuss. Ray

When you talk about a case for a vendor, there are two possible scenarios: a) a case created by an end customer, that can be traced back to a vendor b) a case purely for the vendor We have just publish Hubcase for NetSuite that may be a solution, particularly for a). Let me know if I can help ask any questions. Ray

Hi Cat: Thank you for your help on this. I did find out that it can be done as you had indicated. However, NetSuite will change all the history upon changing that account which will affect our financials going back to several years. Is there a way that would allow us to change the expense account to the COGS as what we…

Hi: When you open up several windows, NS kind of freaks out and tells you that another user has logged in, etc. which is not the case. I dont think its something you need to worry about. Also, a faster way to open another window is simply to place your curser on the different tabs (vendors, financials, reports, etc) and…

Thank to you all. I appreciate your help on this. I will try it and see if it works. Thanks again!
