mlabcdzs, I found a similar error that was reported to Support and it looks like it only reproduces on a 'POST'. Using a 'GET' method resolved this error in a suitelet.

The performance issue reported in Defect 419623 should be resolved now. Support will reach out to customers already attached to the Defect to confirm.

The site is functioning normally. There may be some residual network address resolution issues that may result in some users having difficulty reaching the site. These issues will be clearing as information propagates through the internet.
