Am I correct that you have posted this initial journal with a reversal date of 1/4/2023 but the reversal is posted on the same day you posted the initial journal?

I am thinking this could be caused by the reversal date being in the past. You did the correct thing checking the Defer Entry field. Could you try posting the same journal in your sandbox but with a reversal date int he future of the day you post.

I just re-opened the case after the closed the first one. They were asking questions that had already been answered with I first opened the ticket.

Last one was supposed to have been escalated to the SuiteBuilder/Customization Team. Hopefully this time they'll be able to fix it.

I recommend using a workflow to hide the fields that can't be hidden via form updates.

@Elychelle Gulen-Oracle Sorry for the delay yes I was able to check it out. Turns out this is related to Inventory only, unfortunately we are working with Non-Inventory and from what I understand this solution does not stop the Income & Expense Accounts changing in a Non-Inventory Item Master.
