GL Impact of Saved Checks - Prior to Printing

Hello:

It seems that the native behavior is to have an immediate GL impact upon saving a check to be printer "later." That is, before the check is printed, it will have a GL impact and reflect in the GL.

Is it possible to configure the system so that there is no GL impact until the check is printed? For example, I go through "write a check" screen and save it and click the box "to be printed" - I do this in April.

I do not print that check until June. Is it possible to configure the system that the GL impact will happen only in June, when I print the check, and not in April when I created and saved it?
