I've been told Netsuite has removed several payment processor setup options is preparation for the launch of a new "enhanced" payment processor interface module in Netsuite. Apparently the existing setups will continue to work for now but you can't create new ones.

I don't know if it is just me but I haven't received any notifications about the VAT change bundle and associated training. We can probably figure it out but something in the NS communication system seems to be broke. Regards Peter www.britishbins.co.uk

If you are in the UK, there is a NS bundle from PostCodeAnywhere which is supposed to look up the address from the post code. Unfortunately it doesn't work on the customer pop up form or on the web order form, so currently it's not much use in practice. Post code look up is a really normal common piece of web functionality…

NS reports our cart abandonment consistantly around 60% which I just don't believe. However, when we run a manual test it seems to record actions as you would expect. I wonder if somehow the spiders are apparently shopping.

If NS doesn't update its primitive (and buggy) shopping cart experience soon, the trickle to Magento will turn into a flood. The cart probably looked OK when it was written a decade ago but now its gauntlet of death approach is really showing its age. It would be very interesting to see the effect on abandoned cart stats…

We run an ecommerce website with a narrowly targetted product range. Our Google bounce rate has always been 40-50% and this didn't change when we moved to Netsuite. I suspect though, that checkout abandonment went up after moving to NS due to the clunky primitive NS check out process.

If you figure out a way of doing this, please post it as the lack of this capability has long been a big problem with Netsuite necessitating very ugly workarounds. Peter peter.bond@britishbins.co.uk

I'm not sure I can be of much help in telling you what is wrong but we regularly fullfil sales orders with stock from multiple locations and it works OK. We just have the basic package with no stock module and no fancy script. If you want to compare setting etc you are welocme to contact me. Peter…

Sadly the performance is not replicated for customers. For some reason on our NS site www.britishbins.co.uk, google reported a an average load page of 25 seconds on the 30th. This was up from the already awful average of 5 seconds. Prior to moving to NS a couple of months ago our average was less than 2 seconds.

Chrome did an update last week that changed the way pdf's are viewed and manipulated. The new pdf viewer is more secure but the old control buttons are hidden, however crtl+S and crtl+P work fine. Peter www.britishbins.co.uk

You could put the titles in as a separate text element and remove the labels from the data. Generally the whole PDF authoring system in Netsuite is really primitive. There should be much more layout control and the ability to design multipage forms - we live in hope.

You should manually upload an xml sitemap to Google but the one NS generates is not valid, even is you get it to generate one without errors, which is highly unlikely. The only effective way to build an XML sitemap for a NS site is to use a third party generator.
