  • Your asking the wrong person. Ask NS. I'll give you my guesses. maybe it is because I have "display in = subtab address" or maybe because "Print on Standard Forms = True". Anyhow, I can set both "purchase" and "sale" to OFF and it still displays on our SO. The only other way to make it go OFF of the SO is to edit the SO…
  • When I source from "ship to/phone", it puts our customer's phone on the drop-ship PO and on our SO, but the value for the phone number is blank on the SO. When I source from "Entity/phone", it puts our vendor's phone to our drop-ship POs and it adds our customer's phone on the SOs. Neither solution is what we want. Tom
  • You should be able to create a custom transaction body field, apply to purchase, print on standard forms, store value = F, source list=ship to, source from=phone number. Is it sourced from "ship to/phone" or from "Entity/phone". In another thread about this, I was instructed to use "Entity/phone". I recently noticed that…
  • The solution (if you want the "ship to phone" on the SO and PO) is to make two "transaction body fields". Phone1 = source from = "ship to/phone" Phone2 = source from = "Entity/phone" Make both of them apply to purchase, print on standard forms, store value = F... display = in subtab address. Then customize your SO and PO.…
  • Sounds like you need to enter an address on each of your location records. I go to "list -> Accounting -> Locations" and I check the locations and they do have addresses. What do you mean by "enter an address on each of your location records"? Tom
  • We set the shipping preference in v2007 to use the order number as our 1st reference number (at setup > accounting > shipping) and yet it still doesn't put any reference numbers on the "fulfillment package records" or on the UPS labels. What could cause that? Is the feature working? -Tom
  • Yes, what about UPS hundred weight service? Will that be supported in v2007 or is it under consideration for a later release? -Tom
  • > For us we would like to be given the choice as to whether we would > create a new PO or add the item to an existing PO when a item is added > to the SO. I agree.
  • Has anyone gotten the new UPS label "auto-populating reference number" feature in v2007 to work? -Tom
  • We use multiple locations turned on AND we ship products from multiple locations. I have also notice the shipping seems a bit higher than it should be on those orders? How does NS determine the "extra shipping cost" for each additional location? Does it charge multiple "handling fees"? -Tom
  • Curious if any progress has been made on this front (in v2007). We just received our UPS scale and I am wondering if there are plans to make them work within NS. T
  • rnedelkow, I found a critical error in your solution. t adds the customer's "ship to" phone number on a SALES ORDER just fine. However, we also want the customer's "ship to" phone number on any drop-ship purchase orders that we send to our vender. We found that using your solution will put the vender's shipping address…
  • We are still having fulfillment errors at 3:24 cst. If you do a audit of our activity, look at the "federalfulfillment" user. Whenever they (our fulfillment company) attempts to mark anything shipped, they get the error "an unexpected error has occured...". So, they can't mark anything shipped today. Tom
  • I called NS. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, I hung up without ever getting through. The main thing I hate is the message being played every five minutes in my ear saying "we will be right with you". After the first hour it becomes quite annoying. They need to have a option to hold without the recording or it should just say…
  • Baruch, Before v11, we had already added a custom field called "Address Type" and the customer had to use a pull-down menu during check-out to choose residential or business. The pull-down is still there. How would we make NS see that field's contents and automatically set the new NS residential/commercial field to the…
  • I don't like giving away our secrets, but we use a company called Federal Fulfillment (by Chicago). So, if you are a competitor of ours...stop reading and go to the next thread. If you say that Tom from SignsDirect put you in touch it would be apprciated (i don't get anything from it). They do use NetSuite to check our…
  • Why not have a checkbox during web store check-out that says "this is a residential address YES/NO" and let our customers populate that field? T
  • Ecacho, please direct me to the "new ecom feature" area of the sneak peek doc.
  • Bill, I suspect what you say is accurate. It sure would be nice if NetSuite would tell us why this notion is incorrect. NetSuite, please let us in on the plan to advance ecom without an ecom "new feature list" section in v2015.1 sneak peak docs. Or, if it is really going to die a slow death... just say so.
  • We're using the current support version of "reference my account" despite the fact that clicking on an old order shows our customer a NetSuite error (known defect they're working on for many months). No responsive templates designed by and supported by NetSuite despite the fact that this is possible (in Site Builder…
  • If you find an alternative please let us know, we are an ecommerce business and Netsuite has not worked on keeping the web module up-to-date with new technologies, we will be interested in knowing which alternative you select. I wish Netsuite had spent money and time in updating other crucial parts of their software like…
  • Yes, ditto on the "horizontal label preference".
  • Our font for answering cases became super small. What gives?
  • I think there is a disconnect between Netsuite and it's client base, or at least, portions of the client base. Yes, and one "portion" would likely be those that depend on a NS store for their ecom. For what is worth, I'm an "Apple fan boy" and I don't use a pad or a phone to access NetSuite. I find it to be too difficult…
  • I like the new look. I do however wish that NetSuite's desire to provide a "bold new look" was centered around something that would actually make us more money. eg: a bold new look for our sitebuilder webstore. NS webstore templates are ancient.
  • These free suiteapps (this one and timeline) are great. We'd never be able to make a NS customization like this on our own. It feels like NS threw us a bone. Thank you! They don't make up for a dead sitebuilder ecom platform, but they are a bright spot for sure. How about some suiteapps that add ecom features to…
  • Can we change the location of the sticky notes? It is too "front and center" for us. I'd like it in a "Expandable" area like the timeline. The issue we have is that it loads slow. So, (when in a hurry to print a record) we're hovered over the printer icon and we go to click it right as the sticky not decides to load into…
  • They're saying 3rd quarter 2013. -Tom
  • We've been getting emails telling us about this error (XXXXXX = our NS account umber)... Account: XXXXXX Bundle Name: SuiteLabs Transaction Timeline BETA Environment: Production Date & Time: 10/11/2013 12:29 pm Execution Time: 0.08s Script Usage: 0 Script: TT Service SL Type: Suitelet Function: process2 Error:…
  • Timeline and the Drag & Drop were far more useful to us than the last few NS upgrades. Now, I'm thinking that the 'SuiteLabs' initiative is what I should be looking forward to and NOT the NS upgrades which rarely bring us anything that excites us as much as these two free add-ons. Bravo again to Malin Huffman. I wish…
