When you are interested in specific categories, you can Follow them to create shortcuts to your favorite places on the community. This lets you quickly access them later, without having to navigate through the menu every time.
How do I Follow a Category?
To follow a category, click on the Follow button with the bell icon below the category banner as shown below.
After clicking the Follow button, you'll be able to select your Notification Preferences. The check boxes for notifications are initially shown as “selected" based on your default setup for Followed Categories. The default preferences for each area can be selected when you click on your avatar and select My Notification Preferences from the user menu as shown below.
You can choose to only receive popup notifications by selecting the checkboxes under the bell icon or you can also add email notifications by selecting the checkboxes under the tray icon.
How to view your Followed Categories
You can access all your followed categories from My Categories (followed) under the user menu in the upper right corner.
