Sandbox > FedEx Integration Setup

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:38PM in Ask A Guru 8 comments

Hi there,

Looking to integrate FedEx and have some questions.

I'm starting to build in my sandbox, but it won't save the FedEx account info on the 'Set up Shipping' page with an invalid account error. The account number is correct and active. Is this because I need to do something on the FEDEX site for our account, or could this just be because it's sandbox?

Second, am I correct that once this is implemented, the system will add shipping charges to the customer invoice? We have been using a standard charge item for our shipping fees up until now, which makes it easy for a customer to generate a PO to match their order. Also how would this handle multiple shipments? For example, would the customer be charged multiple times if items were on backorder and shipped after an initial shipment of in stock items?

Howdy, Stranger!
