NSC | Customize General Ledger Report: Memo (Line) and Tax Code

Scenario

User would like to add the following fields to the General Ledger Report but wasn't able to find them from the Report Builder: Memo (Line)
and Tax Code.

Solution

1. For the memo line/description on the line item of the transaction:
   1. Navigate to Reports > Financial > General Ledger > Customize
   2. Under Edit Columns tab > Add Fields section: Expand Transactions folder > then click Description
2. For the Tax Code:
   1. Navigate to Reports > Financial > General Ledger > Customize
   2. Click Edit Columns
   3. Click Transactions folder
   4. Click Sales Tax Item folder
   5. Click Name
