NSC | Custom Income Statement Filtered by Location and Shared to Custom Role
Scenario
User is creating a custom role with Profit and Loss (P&L) report access only. The goal is for users assigned to this custom role to view the P&L report exclusively for one designated location. Data for any other locations should be completely hidden from the report.
Solution
1. Customize the Income Statement Report
2. On the Edit Columns page, add another column for Location as reference:
3. On the Filters page, add a Filter for the Location field (e.g. equal to Parent Company US) and unmark the Show in Filter Region:
