NSC | Is It Possible to Remove the Create Intercompany Adjustment Task in Period Checklist?
Scenario
The user wants to know if it's possible to remove the 'Create Intercompany Adjustment' task from the Period Checklist due to its limitations. They have implemented a custom solution and don't want users to inadvertently generate and post intercompany adjustment journals using the standard period close checklist.
Solution
The Create Intercompany Adjustment task will be included in the period checklist if user has the Intercompany Time and Expenses feature enabled and the preference: Intercompany Expenses is set to 'Allow and Auto Adjust'. The preference will enable the automatic adjustment of intercompany time/expenses hence the reason why the task is included in the period close checklist.
