Were there any maintenance notifications for the weekend when things changed? Found at Setup>Company>Administrator Notifications. I ask because I have several clients who had maintenance in prep for 2024.1 ~angela

I do. Rates are normally calculated each month as part of monthly closing. Are you recalculating the rates during month end? Or are the rates you are seeing on the transactions themselves? The calculations in NetSuite are dependent upon the Subsidiary structure. Each currency conversion will roll up to it's parent…

Try adding 'last purchase price' into your search to calculate the on hand value. Note that depending on your costing method - the total value you calculate using the last purchase price may not be the same as the actual value of the items on hand. In your screenshot, you have the total on hand quantity, which is not the…

I have extensive experience using both Xignite & HSBC with clients. However, I've never had a client question the rate calculations. This is why I'm a little confused overall. ~angela

If the report is more than 20mg - which a full GL report usually is, no, you can't email the report. It's too big and will exceed the NetSuite capabilities. If you filter the report to a small date range, you can probably send it. ~angela
-
Ha! I created this post in April of 2007! It's still here!
-
If you are trying to send the GL, that may be the issue. There is a size limitation on report scheduling in NetSuite. Per Suiteanswer 8393: Important There is a 20MB limitation on emails sent from NetSuite. If the report you are sending over email contains any non-ASCII characters in the results data, the limit can be…

This is a new one for me. What provider did you use to determine their exchange rates are off? ~angela
-
OK, this is emailing a report, not a saved search. Hence the difference. To copy others on the report, there are a lot more restrictions - IE- if it's a financial report those can't just be 'emailed' on a schedule. What type of report are you emailing, and who are the entities you want to email it too? ~angela

If you are using transfer orders, this search is : Search Type=Transaction Transaction Type= Transfer Orders Results: Location = From Location To Location = location transfer is arriving. If you are using inventory transfer transactions, I don't think you can capture the 'to location'. ~angela

Hello, If you navigate to Setup- Accounting-Accounting Preferences-Order Management, is the field 'PERFORM ITEM COMMITMENT AFTER TRANSACTION ENTRY' marked as true? ~angela

Are you using SuiteApprovals, or did you create your workflow from scratch? Typically, once a PO is approved, it is locked from editing. Lets say a PO was written for 45k in your example. The PO is approved. If someone edits the PO, and you set the status back to 'pending approval' and any of the items arrive and receipts…

Question - when you are accruing sales taxes (different than charging these) there is a field on the PO & The Vendor bill where the tax rate is set. If it is set correctly on the PO, it will follow through to the bill. So is this where it must be updated manually in your question?
-
There is a ship to if it is a drop ship purchase order. Have you tried that? It may work for you. ~angela
-
You cannot change the tax calculations to apply to a different address than the ship to. If using Native NetSuite sales taxes, a workflow won't update the calculations. The tax engine in NetSuite won't work on custom fields. Sorry it's not the answer you want. You could update the ship to address to be the job site…

You can update the time entries to always be billable - using SuiteAnswer 102926. Note that the project preferences themselves can impact the time entries. If the project preferences have 'productive' = true, the time won't be marked as billable on the time entries. ~angela

It sounds like Group Average Costing is what you might want to implement. See Suiteanswer ID 43559. ~angela

Create a custom field on the invoice, copy your saved search, add the 'Customer ID' to your saved search as a filter, Remove all the summary values except the totals, and then set the search on the field as the source. You cannot store the value of the search in order to display the results. This will allow you to…

Hello, In the Purchasing/Inventory subtab Inventory Management section, do one of the following: To enable NetSuite to round up the quantity consumed for this item, check the Round Up Quantity as Component box. To prevent NetSuite from rounding up the quantity consumed for this item, clear this box. (This is what you want…

It certainly appears that you have things configured around SB Emails. So the issue now appears to be isolated to the approval workflows themselves. In this case, I usually try to simplify to isolate the issues. Are people able to log into the sb and manually 'approve' the emails? - (You can't automate anything that…

The inbound emails should be captured, if you have the feature enabled. The feature is under the 'Marketing' group. You should also have

Here is a fantastic link from SuiteAnswers that I keep Bookmarked. https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/72893/loc/en_US However, note that Inbound Shipments are not listed on the applying/applied to table. I don't think the field is available to capture within your search. Sorry I'm not more helpful.…

D- None of the above.

Hi Robert, When the Sales Order is created, and the Billing schedule is set, a simple solution could be to change your process. Meaning, have the sales order be 'pending approval' to provide accounting the opportunity to review the billing schedule prior to the SO having any fulfillments. By updating the process this way,…

Yes, your expenses will still work once you've updated the approval workflow. However, expense lines are still going to drive the need for a receipt. If you truly want a 2 way match, You can use non inventory items for expense lines, with the pricing of 1=$1.00. On the non inventory item, under preferences subtab, you can…

There's your answer. It's an enhancement. Ugh. Depending upon who is actually paying your bills, you may want to consider having your partner be a customer, with subcustomers underneath them - this will allow you to manage them in a way that works for you. ~angela
-
Here, this snippet shows how you can copy others who are not contacts. The red arrow points to the email address that comes from the entity record on the primary email. If the additional recipients are NOT contacts, you only need to add their actual email address.
-
Are you in production or a sandbox? I ask because it can make a HUGE difference.

Hi @Eklon Eleuterio - There really isn't a way to do that. It's a one at a time thing. Might be an enhancement somewhere, but that won't help you now. I started to try and give you a workaround, but since you can't import updates to subsidiaries via csv, it didn't work. :( Sorry there isn't an easier way. I feel your pain.…
