Hi Bonnie, Looks like you are definitely on your way. My apologies for not being crystal clear. ;) Directly from Online help: You can define different custom transaction layouts for printing forms as PDF and for printing forms as HTML. To define whether to print using PDF or HTML, go to Home > Set Preferences , check or…

Is there a way to change the color or thickness of the textbox borders on forms within NetSuite? We tried Set Preferences > Appearance, but the settings there don't seem to change the borders at all. We have some users who complain that they can't see the borders, and we've been changing the monitor settings, but that…

A big congratulations to Netsuite for getting their long awaited second data center up and running. We now have true data replication :) Standing Ovation!!!!!!!:D

I have a client who was upgraded last weekend, and they received this functionality- strange that they wouldn't hold it back across the board - if they intended to at all. When you tried to add the GP functionality to your financials, did you at least see it - and it won't function, or is it missing completely?
-
Hi Rafe, I have seen multiple tweaks in integrated shipping with the new release. However, all of them I have come across are not actual bugs, they are changes to the settings that seem random and unexplained. File the case, but if you want to troubleshoot it yourself, you might try what I am listing below : Your primary…

This release has kept me a little busy myself the past couple of weeks, and I have seen 2008.2 in action both in live accounts and have pushed it in test accounts pretty hard. What I found might surprise you a bit. There are issues and bugs- yes. In my humble opinion, most of the pain and frustration has not come from the…

Multi package support for international? present and functioning in my preliminary testing :D
-
The problem is that entire databases are upgraded, not individual accounts. For testing, we recommend beta instead. Thanks, -e yeah, but with a day job, numerous support cases of my own with our clients, countless hours spent in my two test accounts, and, of course the project demands of lead implementation, I haven't been…

The Participants in the Early Experience Program ARE real companies. They got the new version a couple weeks ago. We are considering extending the amount of time they get it and also potentially expanding the program. Thanks, -e Is it possible for some of us to sign up to have our test accounts first in line to be upgraded…
-
Hi Evan, This brings a question to mind for me, I hope this is not OT to much. All new releases go through QA prior to launch, as I understand it. What I am wondering is if QA has the ability to test these kind of features- do they have access to a gateway for CC processing? are they able to really test the system…
-
We'll consider allowing test accounts into the early experience program, by moving them to the appropriate database. Thanks, -e If you will do this, then I might be able to assist with testing some of those integration points prior to full release (on my own personal time, of course). Even if it meant getting a different…
-
There is an earlier group called the early experience program. We are continually looking at how we can improve the rollout to the early phases and we will examine what happened with the issues found today and how we can avoid them in the future. That said, the best insurance policy is to make sure you test critical…

Hi David, hope all is well in your world: FYI about Gross Profit Reports, in case your interested: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=13926&highlight=gross+profit
-
We are working on resolution as fast as possible and it will be days not weeks. Thanks, -e Wow, He says days, and it was less than 1. Evan, you are the man!:D
-
That's great news - once bitten with the 2007.1 'docs' v 'actual' bug, twice shy! ") Thanks Luke. Right there with you, matt. Thanks luke, good to know.
-
Thanks Malin- are you still on track to have the csv updates available for sales orders?
-
Angela, In case you hadn't noticed, if you log in to the support center, you'll see all the 2008.1 docs are already there! -Mark yep- noticed that- however, in remembering how 07 rolled out, looking to confirm that some of the features will not be held back. ;)
-
And Mark - perhaps rip off the cover and replace it with one from "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare"? Beautiful! I never doubted it would come out. ;) NS Gods rock.
-
Hey Angela, Are you the author? I'd buy it! Matt What, Matt- do I not look busy to you? No, to be very clear, I deserve absolutely NO credit for this book. It is being written by the tech publication team at Netsuite, led by the very talented Valerie Steele, and her amazing team. I do believe Evan has the final say,…
-
Gee Whiz the Grinch strikes again :p There you go, Krish, shooting the messenger. ouch. :p
-
Angela is correct, with one exception. The projected release date is summer 2008. (end of Q2) Valerie is indeed leading the charge, but the project is a collaborative effort including the technical publications team, product management, and development. LOL- if I had known that all it took to get these talented individuals…
-
any idea when the actual release date is set for?
-
What transactions are you talking about? Item receipts?
-
Angela, Have you ever used this feature? Maybe once? We use Avery labels. Let me explain. Try doing a receipt that would generate 10-15 labels (on a avery label sheet that has aprox. 50 labels per sheet) print that sheet. Now remove the labels from the sheet. do another receipt that would generate 10-15 labels. use the…
-
Currently, when printing item labels from a receipt, hitting the 'print labels' button queues all items on that receipt to have labels printed. This is as designed, and allows for the receipt to be accommodated with just a click. Is this not working for you?
-
Did NS give you a case or issue #?
-
What role are you using?
-
Signing the form says that YOU not Netsuite is responsible for ALL of the credit card data. Is this also the case if you have not signed this form? The data is on Netsuite's servers so You cannot control all access but you are assuming all liability. Maybe you have all the liability even without signing the form but I…
-
A good question, as I have had to call support twice today. The first time, I was on hold for 57 minutes before I got someone, the second is 31 minutes and counting... I certainly hope that they will answer calls that have been in the queue since well before they closed. Anyone know if this is the case? If support closes…

Why do you say OzLINK is not the answer? I understand that OzLINK does not directly fix this within NetSuite, but they give you the ability to ship with UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL without having to make any setup changes when you swap between carriers. Ozlink does not replace the basic functionality of NS integrated…
