Upon looking into this a bit more, I can tell you that the same thing happennd to th images that were uploaded. The names of the images (they are named their corresponding item number) are just as skewed as the item numbers. Going to be a long weekend. :(

Thanks, JMU, but I still think this is a bit outrageous. Here is why. I have confirmed that the uploaded file did not have rounded field numbers. The numbers were correct when introduced to NS. I am certain of this. To take this one step further, and to really point out that NS has issues with numerical fields, I have…

OK, now I know the problem. CSV imports are not working with office 07. When importing from an earlier file, it works like a dream. I have to go relay this, not going to be a 'fun to be me' day.
-
well, I just had to come back to this thread and update it. I will try not to go on a rant here.... I have a definitive answer on what went wrong, at least. JMU- you get the gold stars, you're right. It seems that the case has been closed, and here is what went wrong. I thought that the fields 'item number' and 'upc code'…

I am not sure about this but I also have this problem when I list my 13 digit ISBN numbers for the book items in inventory. I think the problem is in the CSV excel file. If I save the file and close it before I try to import the numbers look like this...9.78079E+12 - they will not post like they are supposed to.…

Check out what using the search button in here brings up. search on "buttons outlook", then look for something along the lines of '2 new buttons in outlook' amazing thing, that search bar ;)

Thank you. I didn't mean to go that high up, but hey, if it works....:D Your wonderful, Evan.

I had this problem not to long ago. It about made me crazy, and I cannot tell you what was happenning, but I can tell you how I got around it. First, I could not get the attachment to open from the e-mail. When I tried to open it, I could only save it as a *.bmp- so I reopened it in paint, saved as a *jpeg. The problem…

This is really strange, this case is not even listed in the support cases for this account. Will someone PLEASE confirm that this case exists, and give me some kind of feedback as to what the status is? I know this was an S2, but keep in mind, when sales orders and invoice cannot be saved, no sales can be made. Help!!!!!

ok, make that 9 times. Time to call support. Edit- another PICNIC error. all fixed :D
-
Ahh, apparently, my steps were not clear enough, even though it was less than a moth ago. Go figure. At least I tried. ;)
-
Do you ever use the adjustment worksheet, Angelika? What is the approximate date of the transaction?
-
and who says NS doesn't listen ;) Kudos, Todd, you guys rock!
-
Anyone from NS want to comment? Is there any hope for this? Why/why not?
-
Hey, Ian, What are the case numbers - or any kind of reference numbers? This is something they really may want to think about, so give us something to latch onto with you.....
-
off hand, does anyone know the recommend browser settings? for optimal performance using NS-

Many many moons ago Angela.....like maybe 5 years now. I did not like the way it worked, so have not used it since. This particular item was brought into stock in April of 06. The error seems to have occurred at the end of May this year. Edit 5/22/2007 Purchase Order 913 SC Inc 6 6.48 38.88 Edit 5/31/2007 Bill 254968 PO913…

I only have one- cable. The major trick I learned is to keep the power strip off of the floor, so the cat doesn't turn me off when I am not expecting it ;) Still would like to know the recommended settings, though...

are the specs of this case just to raise the time limit from 3 minutes overall, or just raise them from a dedicated server perspective?
-
Angela, The main thing you need to do is clear your browser cache about once a week. This means deleting all of your temporary Internet files. For IE7, this is Tools menu | Internet Options | General tab | Delete button. Then click Delete files in the top section labeled Temporary Internet Files. Not a browser settting,…

wouldn't it just be easier to wait until the page loads?

We tried that. We are permission violation. Permission Violation: only the administrator may access this page. Fereale If that is what the error states, it is incorrect. I have only found one way to provide access to change shipping setup without handing out admin roles like candy. Customize the 'System Administrator'…

Is this a saved, custom report?, If so, perhaps you could resave it and see if that fixes the issue.
-
Perhaps you might try going to help, choose guides, then CSV upload guides. You can find the templates at setup-import/export-csv imports.
-
maybe someone monitoring the system sneezed? ;)
-
Johana, It is very difficult to guess what the problem is, as we have no visibility into your system and very few specifics. However, if you are interested in troubleshooting this yourself, and hunting own the problem, you may want to start with the 'history' tab on your item. Look at the different transactions that…

In all seriousness, Andy, I may agree with Basil here. Whatever project you speak of, you may want to (if you haven't already), determine the actual scope of the project itself. If this is something that has a target end date, (and not hiring a new employee with a training eval period) you will be taking some serious risks…

Im nothing if not persistent, want some more case numbers from today?:D

You guys are so bad, when you come up with new code words, let us know...;) Steve, Did your upload work in Beta? I have been fighting with these uploads for a week now, and am only able to upload sucessfully if I break them into very small line quantities. (No more than about 40 lines per upload). The odd thing is, when I…
