  • This has been asked for since v11. Is it not "enchanced" for Firefox/Safari in 2007.0?
  • Safari v3 (beta) released for both Macs & Windows today. While I still don't get WYSIWYG on emails, it is DEFINITELY snappier. So much that I timed it on my Mac vs. my trusty Firefox (which has been by far my preferred browser on the Mac). Home Page: 17s - home page (with multiple, complicated KPIs, snapshots, graphs, etc)…
  • So there is lots of stuff wrong. Generate statement to email is spinning, waiting. Process CC (authorization or charge) timing out. How big is this problem?
  • Was working from 11:30-12:30PDT most of the time. Now, back to problems. Don't know what could be going on. The VeriSign end of things seems to be working ok for them.
  • We are having problems processing credit cards. Don't know if it is NetSuite or Verisign related.
  • The enhancement # is 114532. The problem is that the standard employee center role only allows view access to the file cabinet, and custom employee center roles may only reduce or remove permissions, not 'up' them. We could just change it to 'Create', but not all companies would appreciate all their employee center users…
  • I was bulk processing credit card charges and it took about 20 minutes to start (usually less than 1 minute), and then the pace of processing seemed very slow as well.
  • Well I filed a case. I don't know how they did it. Took 3 days, but the pesky "CoGS are being recalculated" is now gone. I just hope prior closed years have not been changed.
  • NetSuite CSR said they had no clue if or when there was a set routine to recalculate CoGS in NetSuite. They therefore had no clue as to when we could expect to be able to run a "CoGS recalculation-free" report. So any guidance from more knowledgeable NetSuite employees monitoring this board would be much appreciated.
  • This is an issue. NetSuite would do well to issue guidelines as to when & why we could expect this to happen. We should also be able to be know under what circumstances we could expect to print out fully "recalculated" financial reports. Is there a certain recalculation time window, after which I could expect no CoGS…
  • Issue 133858 fixed for release on 11/1. Thanks, -e Wonderful! My warehouse folks will be thrilled to hear this.
  • We are planning to add picking ticket line item sorting customization into our Fall release, due October. Thanks, -e This will be huge for us. Do we need to vote on an enhancement request, e, or is it good to go for the next update?
  • You are right - we goofed. It was in the feature specification that we had to do that but was not tested. The tester who made this lapse is no longer with the company (don't worry, not because of your post ;) We will get this fixed asap. Thanks, -e Thank you, as always!
  • I am experiencing the following: - Sort by Item takes all items, even if they are members of a kit (set to print on pick ticket - as we need to), throws them in one big hopper and spits them out individually, in alphabetical order. Thus, I get kit items all over the place, not nested under the name of the kit. Please tell…
  • We are still working on a fix for this. btw, even though you get an error message the fax should still be sent. Thanks Ken I believe it was 10.5 that totally broke the ability to fax for a while. I would have thought, especially after that experience, that testing fax functionality would have been one of the basic QA tests…
  • on west coast- no problems....... Ditto - no probs here.
  • Bins is high on our wish list, but a non-starter for us until NetSuite implements the ability to transfer inventory among bins. Last I knew, transferring inventory among bins required doing an inventory adjustment, which: - is not a transaction type I want my line warehouse workers to have access to - I can't afford to…
  • Brian, That is absolutely correct. Nice, huh? Kind of hard to continue to defend NS for me lately. They are wearing me down..... Hey NetSuite, how far down have NetSuite customers who run warehouses/are distributors/light manufacturers actually fallen? Completely off your radar map? Because this is a FUNDAMENTAL INADEQUACY…
  • I'd like to second Angela's insistence that fixing bin management demands more consistent and higher priority attention by NetSuite folks. While Angela is in the middle of it all, we are still on the periphery, having concluded for the moment that bin management is absolutely unworkable in practice for us. Again, the most…
  • To address what I believe was at the heart of Angela's OP (Opening Post): Separate from the suggested workflow of using an inventory adjustment, particularly for those who use MLI and Bin Management, please vote for: Enhancement 102113: Bins: Please provide a way to transfer items from bin A to bin B within a single…
  • Still looking for a NetSuite update as to: - when we will get the ability to transfer inventory from Bin A to Bin B - not have to use an inventory adjustment as a workaround for this This remains a _serious_ oversight / bug in the implementation of bin management.
  • You have our support, Angela! I would add that I hope NetSuite recognizes, as they begin to assess the situation, that there exist a customers out here (like me), who are waiting for NetSuite to get this right before implementing it. Had we already implemented it like Angela, NetSuite would have even more customers echoing…
  • Same here. After find the Bin movement has to be done by invenyoty adjustment, we decide not to use Bins until NS fix this problem. Currently, we plan to print the picking Bin number on the picking ticket. I will use a access small database to let the warehouse record all the Bins they are using for each item. But we can…
  • Update on this? Please, let us transfer from Bin A to Bin B instead of having to use an inventory adjustment...
  • Let's be honest. NetSuite has placed a checkbox next to "bin management" in terms of functionality they believe is provided by the system, but in practice, like other functions, bin managment is unworkable for many/most of us. And we need to disabuse ourselves of the idea that using inventory adjustments is an acceptable…
  • due to some serious miscommunication between departments, my warehouse crew stopped paying attention to bin location and managements around the first of the year. Due to this, our bin counts and our on hand counts are quite skewed. The limitations of bin management that we face is that we cannot move items from one bin to…
  • Given that we can't customize fulfillments (hopefully this be "enhanced" soon), one option is to create an alert that emails you every time that field is empty on an item fulfillment. They will QUICKLY get the picture when you forward the emails and ask them to fix it every time it happens.
  • Angela, Thanks for your post. We are aware of some holes in the implementation of bin management, and we will be addressing them in a future release. There are currently workflows that are specifically designed to move items from one bin to another. You can, however, use an inventory adjustment to accomplish this. Simply…
  • Angela, my post was not directed at you, or a judgment on your company's processes. I'm sorry that you took my post personally. Instead, my response was to rgrisso, who said "Please try this out and let me know if it is sufficient for your needs. If not, please let me know and I will investigate alternatives." In my…
  • So I just wanted to reiterate my point one more time: I sincerely hope that NetSuite agressively plugs the "holes in the implementation of bin management" it acknowledges, and that it does so not merely by one-by-one "enhancement" requests, but rather by a more holistic approach, understanding NetSuite customer processes…
