Apparently practicality is overlooked by the powers that be... post pulled.
-
Sorry - I misread it.
-
Unless you are already an administrator or the owner of the search, anyone editing it should only be able to "save as" and not "save" which means they won't be able to overwrite the search criteria.
-
Do you only sell in single units? Or boxes? Perhaps you could reconsider how your enter them if it's the latter.
-
Yep. http://www.quirksmode.org/js/detect.html

Lists>Mass Updates>Mass Updates> Should give you a link at the top like "Click To View The Details Of Your Last Mass Update" I think it will show an active one and it's progress. It definitely shows the last one I did when I went there just now.
-
Are you the owner of the search? If yes, of course you can change it... Have you tried logging in as a different user that isn't an administrator and seeing if you can edit the search? I'm guessing no...
-
Pretty sure you can use inactive items from the original sales orders to do all of what you suggested. Here's an idea though... why don't you put through a dummy order, make an item inactive and check what you can and can't do? Maybe post your findings?
-
Inventory adjustments?
-
Shocked? Welcome to Netsuite...
-
Well perhaps you wouldn't publicly announce "hey everyone, you've got the same password" Anyway, good luck with your journey.
-
Yes and no. You could assign them all with the same password via csv import and make them change the password next log in. Then you could send the invite via a mail merge to them containing the password and a link to the log-in page. Maybe. If you wanted to.
-
I know what causes it. It happens if you tab through after entering a product name and enter the amount to be adjusted before the product has finished populating. You just gotta do them slowly... And only do 5 records at a time and then save and edit and keep going. Frustratingly slow... We do a monthly stocktake.

I looked as using Coupons but couldn't customise them the way I needed them. The custom record works in a similar manner to Coupons but using a custom record meant I had to recreate some existing NetSuite functionality. Coupons? Where would I find these within the Netsuite machine?
-
If all you want to do is force free shipping, why not create a promocode for free shipping. You can force that onto the cart via a url by appending &promocode=xxxx to the url string.
-
Would a gift certificate do the job here? You could create a dummy payment for the CG.
-
Actually I searched for single use coupons, which returned no results. Searching for coupons returns: Items and Inventory Management : Using Item Records : Item Pricing : Item Coupons - but that just interchanges coupons and promotions with the word code after it. Same thing. Maybe it's just a 2012.2 thing? We're still on…

You may want to give Kapil a call at uPaya (www.upayasolution.com). He has a loyalty point program that can be installed via SuiteBundler. I used it at my old company and it worked great. Kapil and team should be able to tweak it to meet your needs. No. No I don't. I was just hoping for an answer. I guess that was too much.

Hire a new controller.
-
Weird. We have have different help guides.
-
Yeah I'm loving it. The inward pinch to reveal and scroll through all your open tabs in safari makes it really easy to navigate to the tab your looking for if, like me, you end up with 20+ tabs open at any given time of the day. Performance is amazing. The downside is, unlike my pc using fellow employees, I have less time…
-
Best of luck to you, trying to use Netsuite with someone so rigid!
-
I would ask the customer to have his IT person set up an email group and he can control who gets the emails. Just sayin' I completely agree. If they want exceptions, let them make it happen!
-
I'm thinking about exposing a partial list of NetSuite employee internal IDs in a publicly-available JavaScript file Written by a stalker! Sorry... that amused me somewhat. I hope you find your answer.
-
But you do know where I live right?
-
You can resize it to 1x1 pixel. Just a tiny black dot.
-
I would also like that cake iced.
-
Follow the previous steps. That should work...
-
Glad you got there!
-
What would you be trying to achieve by doing that? Just so we are clear and not chasing our tails!
