I tested again. This time I tried the standard cash sale sales order (the non-advanced HTML/PDF version). It worked! So, we need our custom form. We don't do anything too weird in any of our custom forms. We typically just display fields (both standard and custom). Any idea what makes it bomb in the web-store?
-
We didn't remove any fields that I'm aware of. We added fields. It would be very helpful if support could tell me what fields it needs to not get the errors.

Bump: Defect #290759: Reference My Account > View Order Details > An unexpected SuiteScript error has occurred. NetSuite, since this error is visible to our customers (making us look like we have amateur ecom) AND effecting multiple NetSuite user accounts, WHEN can we expect a fix? -Tom
-
I thought Defect 290759 was all about using the wrong forms (as medelkow pointed out). We had a developer help and we first redesigned all of our forms (starting each customization with a copy of the current NetSuite default). Forms were converted to the Advanced HTML/PDF forms. We still had issues. Then the developer says…

SuiteAnswers Answer Id: 31464 is not helpful. This was I got this from netSuite... The logs you're seeing in the "Execution Log tab" are not related to the issue with Reference My Account (Defect #290759). Defect #290759 = Reference My Account > View Order Details > An unexpected SuiteScript error has occurred. (S2) The…

geosat wrote: Netsuite are very relaxed about the issue YES. And it is incredibly annoying. We pay the same high cost as everyone else, so why does "StephQ" get to report "...works fine in our account ...actually quite cool " and we have to turn it off all-together because it is currently throws an error (with no…

> Can you try viewing order details using a different sales order form? I have. I switched to advanced PDF forms for a day. Same error.

you would modify the CSS and either remove, edit or comment out any styles that are specific to your customization; Don't you mean that I should comment out the "reference my account" styles? It isn't customizations that we've done that are messing up the header in the "reference my account" pages. It is the attempt to use…

The Reference MyAccount tries to display our standard site header/logo area, but it tries to make it responsive. As a result, it mess up the formatting. Is there a way to make it use the header/logo area code from our theme? What text file controls the header? Is it one of the header Macro text files?

Looks like I was very close. I was to edit.. .../NetSuite Inc. - My Account/Custom My Account/templates/home/home.txt and not .../NetSuite Inc. - My Account/Custom My Account/home.txt Not sure if the extra "home.txt" file was caused by me or just randomly included in the bundle.

I just tested again. I view order history and click "View Order Details" on any of the orders and get "An unexpected SuiteScript error has occurred". -Tom

OK, edit NS CSS that changed our look ..that is what I thought. Thanks for the tips. In my opinion NS needs a new "reference header" feature for "Standard Storefront" users so we can use the same reference header consistently throughout our site. The current process has "Standard Storefront" users manually maintaining a…

The MyAccount area displays our standard site header/logo area, but it mess up the formatting. Elements are off center. The "go" button for our item search box is about an inch below the search term entry box. The site logo is is about 1/2 the size that it is on other non-reference-my-account pages. So, is it just missing…

Comi, I meant to say "When is reference MyAccount 2.0 coming out" and not "When is reference checkout 2.0 coming out"? We tried the current version of "reference MyAccount" when it first came out and ran into several issues (posted earlier in this thread). -Tom
-
So, reference checkout 2.0 just became available and it seems to function properly (for the most part). So, when is "Reference My Account" 2.0 coming out? -Tom
-
I did not experience the "Permission Violation Error while viewing the order history" when testing with my test customer. -Tom
-
When I go to the "Execution Log" tab on the Reference My Account SSP application settings area. It has these three errors each time I attempt to view an old order in "My Accounts"... Error .... Product Lists Data not present in Shopping SSP Error .... Merchandising Module not present in ShopFlow SSP Error .... Content…

...We also get the error, We also reported it to netsuite. Geosat, maybe we can find why the two of us get this error and some others don't (since NS doesn't appear to be in a hurry to fix this defect). Maybe it is an incompatibility with a public bundle that we're both running. I'm just stabbing in the dark. Do you have…

bump. NetSuite?

Is the "My Account" defect (that causes the error message that our customers see in our web-store on a daily basis) still just listed as an S2?

> Do you use the new or old style PDF templates? Old > Do you trade just in USD or other currency too? Just USD > Do you have multi inventory locations? Yes > Do you have oneworld? No. NetSuite "ecommerce mid-market edition". Yea, right "ecommerce edition". Not sure how it qualified for that title with issues like this.

Templates > Header > Macros > header_macro.txt AFAIK Yea, thanks, but that file wasn't able to do what I needed it to do. I'd essential like to copy our header code from "SetUp->SiteBuilder->Theme->OurTheme->Body->Logo and Tabs Template" ..and paste it into the right area or file within "Reference My Account" so that our…

I'm testing now. It uses a different "add to cart button" for reordering items. How can it be made to follow our webstore settings? The header looks very weird and different than the rest of our site. How can it be made to follow our site settings? It is "stretched" vertically. Our normal header might be .5" tall and this…

It was almost impossible to add links to the old "customer center". Did they make it any easier to add custom links in the "Reference My Account" customer center ? -Tom

See attached image. How can ANYONE use Reference my account? We get this error when ANY user tries to view an old order. I updated to the latest version and we still get the error. So, are we the only users getting this error? We did the default implementation with nothing custom! I reported this NINE months ago! Defect…

So, it is still in Beta then? When is reference checkout 2.0 coming out? We tried the current version when it first came out and ran into several issues (posted earlier in this thread). -Tom

Bump. NetSuite? Still shows as v1.01.0. Is it still full of bugs? Is a new version coming out soon?

fmeilan, I didn't see the answers to these issues... It uses a different "add to cart button" for reordering items. How can it be made to follow our webstore settings? The header looks very weird and different than the rest of our site. How can it be made to follow our site's header settings? Is it a manual process to keep…

Well, how is Reference My Account working? No posts in this thread for 5 days... so, I assume all is working good with this feature. Please confirm.
