My NS site does the same thing. The webmaster tools says "Total URLs in Sitemap = 1,817" ... "Indexed URLs in Sitemap = 17".
-
Is this also an accurate way to see how many they have indexed... http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Anu-heat.co.uk

We are attempting to use the related items/correlated feature on our website but have not figured out the most efficient way of doing so. It is my understanding that correlated items simply show items from purchase history while related items are manually set to display. I intend to use correlated items for the majority…

Before deciding if you need the "Site Builder module", remember that they took it a step further. You still have the "Site Builder module" as an option, but now you can also get the "ecommerce edition". The "ecommerce edition" includes access to some ecommerce bundles and templates that are missing from the "Site Builder…

Defect 187695
-
Tom, regarding the tax in the cart based on zip, can you file a case with support and ask to be attached to issue 187695. Thanks Ken OK, I did. also ...with this new shipping estimator feature in v2010.2, we got this... Defect # -187699 - Webstore: Shopping cart > Shipping estimator : changing shipping method from more to…
-
Just to review the current implementation, the shipping estimator gets turned on when you select 'Show Shipping Estimator in Cart'. Add an item to your cart and then go to your cart (you may already be there if you told netsuite to go to the cart in the case of adding something to it) and you see a rather ugly, easily…

Chris, I'm lov'n it then. I wonder how they got around UPS's requirement to put UPS and FedEx on separate menus. T

I just set the preference to use the new v2010.2 shipping estimator. I see one thing that will confuse our customers. It shows an order total and is shows sales tax (see $107.17 tax in attached image). We only charge sales tax for orders shipping to Illinois. So, if they plug a California zip code into the estimator, it…

---- Hey, that looks promising. The big question is ....can we use "point and click" to activate any of these new features or do we need to get a Javascrip programmer invloved to use any of these new "shopping cart" features? If it is the latter, then most of these features were already available through various NS thrid…

Neither customers or vendors can be set with a preferred location and then assigned a location specific role with location access restrictions. Employees can be given a location and then assigned a location specific role. There is an enhancement to make vendors use location specific setting in roles. Look at enhancement #…

Have most of the NetSuite Multi-Site Limitations been addressed? Couldn't a person use Volusion or Magento as a way to make multiple sites in netSuite without using the NetSuite Multi-Site feature? Seems like you could use farapp to send orders from multiple Volusion sites into your NetSuite account. Right? There might be…

Setup->Accounting->Accounting Preferences->Order Management and selecting: "Use Web Site Template for Fulfillment Emails" The only problem is, there's only one template at: Setup->Web Site->Customize Text->Email I'm really surprised that we have no way to email our customers to tell them their order has been shipped that…

1. Cost of shipping too high and not shown until checkout (69%) This is why we are looking so hard for a system that would add accurate motor freight calculations to our NetSuite webstore. T

I don't know if it a browser issue (we use FireFox on Mac), but I can enter boxlight.com or www.boxlight.com or just boxlight and all three variations go to your website. Tom

I have read that shipping related issues are the number one reason for cart abandonment . I agree with Darren and in our case I'll add that we loose a bunch of the bigger quantity sales because of the inability to accurately charge for LTL motor freight withing the shopping cart. -Tom
-
You'll probably find the conventional wisdom is to list your best sellers because it helps customers make a choice within a particular category. Taking your logic to the extreme (for illustration purposes only) you could remove the prices from all items, shipping costs and return policy since all these are also bits of…

It has been upgraded to S2. Our issue with this was Defect #146734 and I received an update today and it said "Your defect has been prioritized as an S3". Tom
-
OK. You may want to check why the automated status email says "Priority = S3". You may need to file an internal defect for the automated emails that give us the status of your fixes. -Tom
-
We also had the same issue with category images. We found that standard NetSuite layouts (that don't use templates) had the problem. We found a work-around ...we changed to template layouts on critical categories. I'm sure we didn't get all of our images working, but the one layout change got is up and running on a lot of…

I'm not a fan of telling competitors what our best selling items are. It may benefit customers, but it also benefits competitors. I know because I have added new items to our site that competitors have listed as one of their "top sellers". I figure, if their doing good with that item, then I should add it to the products…

Defect 146734 - category images not showing in the webstore prioritized as an S3. S3 = Average of 120 days. Really?
-
We also use the "correlated items" feature, but we really need something added to that feature. It currently separates correlated item lists from "manually related" items (where the NS user manually sets up the relations). You can place the lists side-by-side as the other user did, but you can't combine the two lists into…

Has anyone found a work-around? -Tom

Looks like there are a lot of options for consolidating your product feeds... http://www.feedperfect.com http://www.SingleFeed.com http://www.MerchantAdvantage.com http://www.mercent.com/solutions_shopping.aspx http://www.channeladvisor.com/comparison-shopping/ They all need good data to start with and that can be a chore…
-
"Feed Perfect" looks interesting. It is missing one thing that we use frequently in our "feed converter". It is missing a way to override specific feed data. Many of our NS items have description that are too long or contain HTML. Both of these things cause problems in the comparison engines. We start with a CSV froogle…

Yes, email me or send a message through the UG message feature. Let me know what it would cost. Thanks

I looked at Channel Advisor, but it seemed too expensive. They had a monthly fee and they also took a % of each sale and it added up to quite a chunk. Our margins are too tight for revenue share based advertising. Has anyone had success with any of the other options? T
